Mobile Toilet Door Cannot Be Locked
There may be multiple reasons why the door of a mobile toilet cannot be locked. Here are specific analyses and corresponding solutions:

The safety lock is not reset: There is usually a small safety lock button on the inside of the door. If this button does not spring back to its original position, the door cannot be locked even if the handle is pressed from the outside. In this case, try turning the button twice to reset it, and the normal locking function will be restored.
Deformation of the door frame or loose hinge screws: If the door frame is deformed due to external impact or long-term use, or if the hinge screws are loose, causing the door to tilt, the door gap may exceed 3 millimeters, and the lock tongue cannot reach the catch. If the door frame is slightly dented, use a file to trim the lock slot; if the hinge screws are loose, tighten them; if the door gap is too large, install a stainless steel bolt for additional fixation.
Door sagging: Large gaps at the top and bottom of the door may be caused by wear or installation issues with the hinges or hinges, resulting in the door body sinking and the lock tongue not being able to accurately insert into the lock hole in the door frame. In this case, loosen the fixing screws of the door hinges, insert an appropriate thickness of wood or metal sheet under the door, adjust the height of the door, and then refasten the screws.
Damage to the door frame or door panel: The door frame may deform due to aging, moisture, or impact. The door panel may also bend or twist due to moisture expansion or material aging, resulting in gaps between the door and the frame and preventing complete closure. If the deformation is slight, use woodworking tools (such as a plane) to trim the edges of the door frame; if the deformation is severe, replace the door frame or door panel.
Door lock failure: Wear or breakage of internal parts of the door lock (such as the lock tongue and spring) will prevent the lock tongue from extending and retracting normally, and the door cannot be locked even if it can be closed. In this case, replace the new lock that matches the original lock model, disassemble the old lock, and install it according to the instructions to ensure that the lock tongue aligns with the lock hole in the door frame.
Loose hinges: If the hinge screws connecting the door to the wall are not tightened, the door will shake and cannot be closed stably. In this case, use a screwdriver to check and tighten all the hinge screws one by one; if the screw holes are worn, replace them with longer screws or fill them with wood shavings and then refasten them.
Mismatched position of the lock tongue: If the position of the lock tongue is offset from the lock hole plate (small iron plate) on the door frame, the door can be closed but not locked. In this case, loosen the fixing screws of the lock tongue, move the lock tongue up, down, left, or right to align it with the lock hole plate; if the lock hole plate is deformed, use pliers to slightly adjust its angle or replace it with a new lock hole plate.
