Mobile Toilet Direct Drainage Pipe Installation
Admin 09 de octubre de 2026
The installation of direct drainage pipes for mobile toilets should be carried out in accordance with the following standardized steps:

Site and Foundation Preparation
- Ground Flatness: Choose a solid and flat ground surface with an error margin of no more than ±5mm. If installing on a muddy ground, foundation treatment is required, such as laying crushed stones and compacting them, or pouring a concrete base to ensure installation stability.
- Drainage Connection Convenience: Confirm that there is an accessible municipal sewage network or a pre-set septic tank interface near the installation point. Measure the distance between the interface and the predetermined toilet location to ensure that the sewage hose can be smoothly connected and that the pipeline runs smoothly, avoiding drainage blockages due to excessive distance or angles.
- Septic Tank Location: If not connected to the municipal sewage pipeline, the septic tank should be located downhill, maintaining a natural slope of 1%-3% to prevent sewage backflow and facilitate later cleaning and maintenance.
Infrastructure Preparation
- Sewage Pipe Pre-installation: Bring the interface of the underground sewage pipe to the ground surface in advance and install a well-sealed anti-odor floor drain or docking flange. The interface diameter should match the sewage outlet of the mobile toilet to prevent sewage leakage.
- Pipe Dredging and Inspection: Dredge the sewage pipe in advance to ensure that the interface is intact and crack-free. If the pipe is blocked or aged, replace it with a new pipe before installation to avoid drainage issues or odor diffusion caused by pipe problems later.
Drainage Pipe Connection and Bend Handling
- Straight Drainage Pipe Laying: The drainage pipe should be inclined from the toilet sewage outlet towards the septic tank (with a slope of ≥2%) to ensure natural sewage flow and prevent water accumulation or backflow.
- Bend Handling: Use 45° or 90° elbows at bends to avoid sharp right-angle bends that can cause drainage blockages. The connections at the elbows should be tight to prevent sewage leakage.
- Water Trap Installation: Install a P-type or S-type water trap at the end of the drainage pipe to use stored water to isolate odors and prevent the entry of insects and rodents, improving hygiene during use.
Equipment Assembly and Sealing
- Main Body Inspection: Check whether the main structure of the toilet is intact, whether the doors and windows open and close smoothly, and whether the internal accessories are complete and secure. Pay special attention to checking whether the switch of the bottom sewage valve is flexible and whether the sealing rubber ring is intact to ensure normal sewage discharge function.
- Sealing Treatment: Ensure that the toilet sewage outlet fits snugly with the pipe, and the connection should be properly sealed, such as using sealant or rubber gaskets, to prevent leakage and odor diffusion.
Fixing and Testing
- Fixing Devices: Prepare appropriate fixing devices according to the site environment, such as ground fixing rings, expansion bolts, or windproof cables, to firmly fix the toilet and prevent shaking or tipping.
- Drainage Test: After installation, pour clean water into the toilet and observe whether the drainage is smooth and whether the liquid level in the septic tank rises normally. If there is backflow or odor, re-check the sealing and water traps to ensure that the installation quality meets the standards.
