Daily Cleaning Methods for Mobile Toilets

Admin 01 de octubre de 2026

The daily cleaning methods for mobile toilets mainly include surface cleaning, squat toilet cleaning, floor cleaning, and the eight-step cleaning method, as detailed below:

Surface Cleaning: The inner and outer walls, door handles, handrails, and other areas of mobile toilets are frequently touched during daily use, making them prone to stains and bacteria. They should be wiped with a neutral cleaner, which is mild in nature and will not corrode the toilet surface while effectively removing stains and keeping the surface clean and tidy without residue.

Squat Toilet Cleaning: The squat toilet is the core sanitary area of a mobile toilet, and cleaning is crucial. Use a long-handled brush in combination with toilet cleaner for scrubbing. The long-handled brush prevents cleaning staff from directly contacting waste, while the toilet cleaner has powerful stain-removing and sterilizing effects. During cleaning, it is strictly prohibited to throw items such as sanitary napkins, cigarette butts, and plastic bags into the toilet bowl, as these can easily cause blockages, increasing cleaning difficulty and maintenance costs.

Floor Cleaning: The floor of a mobile toilet is prone to water accumulation, which not only makes users uncomfortable but also breeds bacteria and produces odors. Use a mop to dry the floor, keeping it dry and slip-resistant to provide users with a safe and comfortable restroom environment.

Eight-Step Cleaning Method:

  • Remove: Use a broom to remove dust and cobwebs from the top, walls, window screens, and lighting fixtures of the public restroom. These areas easily accumulate dust, affecting the overall hygiene and aesthetics of the toilet.
  • Wipe: Use a cloth to carefully wipe down doors, windows, sinks, partition boards, window sills, walls, and switches that are easily accessible, ensuring these areas are free of dust and stains.
  • Scrub: Use a brush to thoroughly scrub alkaline scale from squat toilets, sit-down toilets, and urinals. Alkaline scale can affect the normal use and appearance of sanitary fixtures, and timely scrubbing maintains their cleanliness.
  • Clear: Sweep garbage from both the interior and exterior areas of the public restroom and promptly clean out the garbage bins to prevent garbage accumulation, which can produce odors and breed bacteria.
  • Mop: Use a mop to remove water from the floor, ensuring the interior is clean and tidy and preventing users from slipping.
  • Inspect: Check whether facilities such as faucets, sensor devices, and clothing hooks are intact. If any damage is found, report it for repair promptly to ensure the normal operation of toilet facilities.
  • Disinfect: Spray disinfectant on all door and window handles, faucets, and various switches in the public restroom at least three times a day, and turn on deodorizing equipment or light deodorizing incense to effectively kill bacteria and remove odors.
  • Store: Place cleaning supplies such as mops, brooms, and cloths in the tool room to ensure there are no miscellaneous items in the public restroom, maintaining its tidiness and order.
