Mobile Toilet Construction Methods

Admin 20 de septiembre de 2026

There are mainly two specific methods for constructing mobile toilets: using a water storage barrel and using a water storage tank and a pallet. Additionally, they can be classified from perspectives such as structural form, mobility method, and sewage treatment method.

Construction Using a Water Storage Barrel

First, take out a water storage barrel from home and use an angle grinder to split it in half lengthwise. Fix universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board for easy mobility. Attach wooden strips to the upper side of the barrel using self-tapping screws to increase its height. Use the angle grinder to cut an opening on the side of the barrel and install sponge strips on both sides of the opening to form a door frame. Insert plastic soft boards between the wooden strips to create an elevated wall. Place the upper half of the barrel on top of the wooden strips to form a roof and apply white waterproof paint to the wooden strips for aesthetic enhancement. Use foam strips to拼接 (assemble) discarded honeycomb wooden boards to make a simple door. Cut a hole at the bottom of the barrel and install a drain pipe to form a floor drain. Cut holes on the side and bottom of a plastic bucket and install direct connectors. Place the plastic bucket on the roof to form a small water storage device. Connect the bath heater made of water pipes, install a tee joint below the inlet pipe, and connect a showerhead. Place the toilet on the drain pipe opening, install the water tank, and secure it with glass glue. Connect the drain pipe to the sewage tank. Horizontally connect a water pipe to the tee joint of the outlet pipe and extend it to the door as the inlet pipe for the sink. Cut a hole in the door and install a connector.

Construction Using a Water Storage Tank and a Pallet

Use tools to fix universal wheels at the four corners of the bottom of a pallet. Place a water storage tank retrieved from a garbage station on the pallet. Use an angle grinder to cut along the marked line on the top of the tank to remove the top and form an open tank. Invert another open-top tank and stack it on top of the first one, securing the frames of the two tanks with self-tapping screws. Cut a rectangular opening in the frame of the tank and cut the tank body to the corresponding size to form a doorway. Cut a hole in the internal floor of the tank, insert an elbow from the bottom upwards, connect it to a water pipe, and seal it with glue. Cut off the excess water pipe. Place the toilet over the drain opening and secure it with glue. Fix a water pipe on the wall clips and install a faucet. Secure a pipe cap with screws below the faucet, connect a water pipe to the pipe cap, and cut a hole as the outlet for the drain pipe. Apply glass glue to the pipe cap and fix a sink made of a stainless steel basin. Connect the inlet pipe to the toilet water tank, connect the shower hose, and install the shower bracket and toilet seat. Install a spray-type showerhead made of a water pipe. Bring wooden boards, fix hinges on the frame of the tank, and fix the other side of the hinges to a wooden box to form a door. Install a door handle on the door.
