Mobile Toilet Collapse
There were two incidents of mobile toilet collapses occurring in different scenarios.

The first incident took place on a century-old bridge in Seville, Spain. At that time, a mobile toilet fell from the top of the bridge's pylon and ultimately landed on the central lane of the highway. This unexpected situation directly obstructed the normal passage of vehicles crossing the bridge at low speeds, causing a brief traffic jam. More seriously, when the mobile toilet fell, 'fecal water' splashed out, not only severely polluting the road surface environment and increasing the difficulty of subsequent cleanup work, but also potentially posing health risks to passing vehicles and pedestrians, such as the possible spread of pathogens. From the perspective of structural safety, this reflects that the mobile toilet had serious defects in its installation or fixation and failed to withstand possible external forces, such as wind and vibrations, leading to its fall from a height.
The second incident occurred at a construction site in Quanzhou, Fujian. A couple entered the site's toilet for a secret rendezvous in the middle of the night. During the process, due to excessive noise, when the woman leaned against the movable wall of the toilet, she put her entire body weight on it. Since the design of the movable wall might not have been able to withstand the significant weight applied by both people simultaneously, the movable wall eventually deformed and collapsed backward, causing the entire toilet to collapse. This incident indicates that the structural strength and stability of mobile toilets are closely related to the usage scenarios and methods. In an environment like a construction site where personnel activities are relatively complex, if the design of the mobile toilet does not fully take into account possible abnormal usage situations, such as multiple people applying significant external forces simultaneously, structural damage and collapse are likely to occur.
Although these two incidents of mobile toilet collapses occurred in different scenarios and for different reasons, they both highlight the importance of structural safety for mobile toilets. Whether in terms of installation and fixation or structural design, it is necessary to strictly follow relevant standards and specifications to ensure that they can withstand various possible external forces during use and safeguard the safety of personnel and the normal order of the surrounding environment.
