Mobile Toilet Buttons
The two flush buttons on the toilet tank in a mobile toilet represent full-flush and half-flush functions respectively. Using them properly can achieve a balance between water conservation and cleaning effectiveness. Here are the specific functions and usage scenarios:

1. Small Button: Half-Flush Function
The small button corresponds to the half-flush state. When pressed, the tank only discharges about 1/2 to 1/3 of the water volume. This design is suitable for flushing light contaminants such as urine, achieving the goal of water conservation by reducing the amount of water used per flush. Its working principle is as follows: when the button is triggered, the drain valve only opens part of the channel, allowing water to quickly flush the inner walls of the toilet while avoiding excessive water usage and waste. In daily use, about 80% of the flushing needs can be met by the small button, making it one of the core functions of water-saving design in mobile toilets.
2. Large Button: Full-Flush Function
The large button is for the full-flush mode. When pressed, the tank will empty all of its stored water at once. This function is designed for heavy contaminants such as feces, ensuring cleaning effectiveness through a strong water flow. Its drain valve will fully open, creating a greater flushing force that effectively carries away solid waste and prevents pipe blockages. In the usage scenarios of mobile toilets, although the large button is used less frequently than the small button, it is still a key design for maintaining hygiene conditions.
3. Dual-Button Coordinated Usage Scenarios
Pressing both buttons simultaneously triggers the "full-drain mode", in which all the stored water in the tank is discharged with the maximum flushing force. This function is suitable for two special situations: first, when stubborn stains remain on the inner walls of the toilet, strong water flow can assist in cleaning; second, in low-temperature environments in winter, it is used to quickly empty the tank to prevent pipe freezing. However, it should be noted that the water usage per flush in this mode is 2-3 times that of the normal mode, so it is only recommended to be used when necessary to avoid water waste.
4. Design Principle and Water-Saving Significance
The dual-button design achieves "on-demand flushing" through differentiated water discharge volumes, aligning with the research and development concept of water-saving sanitary facilities. Since mobile toilets have limited tank capacities, precise control of water usage is even more necessary to extend the service cycle. Experimental data shows that using the dual buttons properly can reduce the water usage per flush by 40%-60%, which has significant practical value for the management of mobile toilets in water-scarce areas or large-scale event scenarios.
