Mobile Toilet Blow Molding Mold Installation
Admin 08 de octubre de 2026
The installation of mobile toilet blow molding molds should follow the general mold installation process, with a particular focus on controlling structural stability and cooling system connections based on the characteristics of medium-to-large molds. The specific steps and precautions are as follows:

Installation Steps
Preparation
- Clean the mold installation surface and surrounding area to ensure no oil stains, iron filings, or other impurities are present, which could affect positioning accuracy.
- Inspect each mold component (such as cores, cavities, and cooling water channels) for integrity and ensure connecting bolts are tightened. Prepare tools such as wrenches, lifting devices, and dial indicators.
- Confirm that equipment parameters (workbench size, load capacity, stroke) match the mold specifications to avoid overloading.
Mold Lifting
- Use lifting devices (such as steel cables or chains) that match the mold weight, and have a dedicated person direct the smooth lifting to avoid collisions with equipment or the ground.
- Slowly move the mold above the equipment workbench, maintaining a horizontal position to prevent structural deformation due to tilting.
Positioning and Centering
- Adjust the mold position to align the positioning holes (pins) with the equipment positioning devices (such as guide posts and guide sleeves), ensuring the mold center is consistent with the equipment processing center.
- Use a dial indicator to check the parallelism and perpendicularity of the mold installation surface, with deviations controlled within the equipment's allowable range (usually ≤0.05mm).
Mold Fixing
- Select bolts of the appropriate size and tighten them gradually in a diagonal sequence, reaching the specified torque in 2-3 steps (refer to the equipment manual) to avoid uneven force distribution causing displacement or thread damage.
- For combined or steel plate laminated structure molds, additionally check the tightness of interlayer connecting bolts to ensure overall stability.
Connecting Auxiliary Systems
- Connect cooling water pipes, ensuring the joints are sealed without leaks to prevent cooling fluid leakage affecting mold temperature control.
- Connect the ejection mechanism, hydraulic/pneumatic pipelines, and check for smooth operation to prevent jamming or abnormal pressure.
Mold Testing and Inspection
- Start the equipment for dry running, observing whether the mold opens and closes smoothly, positioning is accurate, and all actions (such as ejection and core pulling) are normal.
- Produce a small number of products for trial production, checking the appearance and dimensions of the products meet requirements, and adjust mold or equipment parameters as needed.
Precautions
- Safe Operation: Operators must wear safety helmets, gloves, and other protective equipment during lifting. Standing or walking under the mold is strictly prohibited.
- Cooling System: The cooling water channels of mobile toilet blow molding molds are complex. After installation, conduct a water flow test to ensure uniform flow and no blockages.
- Abnormal Handling: If mold deformation, component damage, or positioning difficulties are found, immediately stop installation, investigate the cause (such as equipment guide rail wear or mold design defects), and then continue.
