Mobile Toilet Blockage
Admin 20 de septiembre de 2026
If a mobile toilet is blocked, you can first try to unclog it yourself. If that doesn't work, contact a professional technician for assistance. Here are the specific methods:

Basic Unclogging Methods
- Multiple Flushes: Use the original flushing device to flush several times. If that doesn't work, pour a basin of water all at once and repeat a few times. This method is suitable for minor blockages.
- Utilize Water Pressure: Find a thick plastic water pipe, connect one end to the tap water, and insert the other end into the pipe opening. Use a rag or scrap cloth to block the pipe opening, turn on the tap water, and use the water pressure to clear the blockage.
- Plunger Unclogging: Add more water to the toilet, align the plunger with the pipe opening, and press down firmly (do not pull up). If it doesn't work the first time, repeat the operation. You can also use a rubber plunger to repeatedly press against the drain opening, using air pressure to loosen the blockage. Ensure that the plunger fits tightly against the edge of the toilet to prevent air leakage, which can affect the results. This method is suitable for minor blockages caused by toilet paper or soft feces and has limited effectiveness for hard object blockages.
- Mop Unclogging: Place the mop head at the pipe opening, add water to submerge the mop, press the mop firmly into the pipe opening, and then quickly lift it. Repeat this process a few times, and the blockage may be sucked out.
Unclogging with Tools and Materials
- Rag + Hose: Find a section of hose, connect one end to the tap water, wrap the other end with a rag, and insert it into the sewer pipe. Turn on the tap water and use the pressure to flush away the blockage. Ensure that both ends of the hose do not leak to maintain the pressure.
- Toilet Unblocker: Purchase a toilet unblocker (which is corrosive and should be used with caution) from a supermarket. First, pour hot water into the squat toilet, then pour an appropriate amount of the liquid according to the instructions. After half an hour, use a plunger (toilet plunger) to assist in unclogging. You can also choose a pipe unblocker containing sodium hydroxide or sodium hypochlorite, pour it into the drain opening according to the instructions, and let it sit to decompose organic matter. Be careful to avoid skin contact with corrosive ingredients and ensure adequate ventilation after use. This method is suitable for blockages caused by grease or fecal accumulation and is ineffective for inorganic materials such as plastic.
Handling Different Blockage Causes
If the blockage is minor and caused by toilet paper, sanitary napkins, towels, etc., you can directly use a pipe unblocker or a simple unclogging tool. If the blockage is caused by hard objects such as plastic brushes, bottle caps, or soap falling in, you can directly use a pipe unblocker or a simple unclogging tool for minor blockages. For severe blockages, you may need to disassemble the toilet to remove the hard objects.
