Mobile Toilet Base Welding Process

Admin 22 de octubre de 2026

The mobile toilet base welding process mainly includes four stages: material preparation, pre-welding preparation, welding process, and post-welding treatment.

Material Preparation: Typically, metal materials such as carbon steel and stainless steel are selected. Based on product requirements and design drawings, the dimensions and specifications of the required materials are determined, followed by procurement and preparation. For example, if the design requires the base to have high strength and corrosion resistance, stainless steel may be chosen, and the dimensions and quantities of the required plates and profiles are precisely calculated.

Pre-welding Preparation:

  • Cutting and Processing: The procured materials are cut and processed to match the design requirements in terms of size and shape. Taking the assembly of a stainless steel mobile toilet as an example, stainless steel plates need to be cut into appropriate sizes for various parts of the base.
  • Surface Cleaning: Carefully remove dirt and oxides from the material surfaces, which is a crucial step to ensure welding quality. Dirt and oxides can affect the formation and quality of the weld, potentially leading to welding defects.
  • Determining Welding Positions and Methods: Select appropriate welding methods and equipment based on the structure and design requirements of the base. For instance, manual arc welding may be chosen for thicker steel materials, while gas metal arc welding may be more suitable for thin plate welding.

Welding Process:

  • Preheating: Raise the temperature of the welding area to a certain level to reduce welding stress and improve welding quality. The preheating temperature needs to be precisely controlled according to the type and thickness of the material.
  • Welding: Select appropriate welding methods and parameters such as welding current and voltage based on design requirements for welding. The mobile toilet base is generally composed of a frame structure welded from steel materials, with channel steel or I-beams often used for the bottom and square steel for the columns. During welding, ensure the continuity and uniformity of the welds.
  • Cooling: After welding is completed, allow the welded parts to cool naturally to avoid the formation of welding cracks due to rapid cooling.
  • Inspection: Conduct visual inspections of the welded joints to check for flatness, porosity, cracks, and other defects. At the same time, perform airtightness tests to ensure that the welding quality meets the requirements.

Post-welding Treatment: Remove welding residues and oxides, flatten the welded joints, and perform surface treatment on the joints. If corrosion protection treatment or painting of the welded joints is required, it is also carried out in this stage to extend the service life of the base.
