Mobile Toilet Base Pipe

Admin 22 de septiembre de 2026

The pipe involved in the base of a mobile toilet is mainly a toilet offset connector, used to solve the problem of misalignment between the reserved sewage outlet in the bathroom and the sewage outlet of the toilet. Here is a detailed introduction to toilet offset connectors:

I. Common Offset Distances
The common offset distances for toilet offset connectors range from 5 to 10 centimeters, and can reach up to 15 centimeters in special cases. However, it is generally not recommended to exceed 15 centimeters, as a longer offset distance may lead to poor drainage and increase the risk of blockage.

II. Types and Characteristics

  1. Flat Pipe: Shaped like a flattened straw, it has a large horizontal width but a low vertical height. This design allows it to be directly hidden in a ground slot, keeping the floor flat. However, the drainage capacity of flat pipes is relatively weak, and it is not recommended to use flat pipes for offsets exceeding 50 centimeters, as they may easily cause blockages due to poor water flow.
  2. Round Pipe: Shaped like an ordinary thick straw, it has a uniform diameter throughout and stronger drainage capacity. When installing a round pipe, the floor needs to be raised, following the formula of raising the floor by 2.6 centimeters for every 1 meter of offset. This design ensures proper drainage slope, and it is not prone to blockage even after ten years of use, but it sacrifices some space height.

III. Installation Precautions

  1. Construction Timing: The toilet offset connector should be installed before laying floor tiles to facilitate adjustment of the floor slope. If the floor tiles have already been laid, some tiles need to be removed before construction, increasing costs and difficulty.
  2. Drainage Slope: The greater the offset distance, the higher the requirement for the drainage slope. During construction, the floor height needs to be adjusted according to the offset distance to ensure smooth water flow. For example, when offset by 50 centimeters, the floor needs to be raised by about 1.3 centimeters; when offset by 1 meter, it needs to be raised by 2.6 centimeters.
  3. Floor Treatment: When using a flat pipe, a slot needs to be cut in the floor, which may damage the waterproof layer and require re-waterproofing; when using a round pipe, the floor needs to be raised, which may affect the installation of door frames or threshold stones.

IV. Price Reference
The prices of toilet offset connectors and related accessories on the market vary widely. The prices of ordinary flat or round pipes range from 4 to 21 yuan, depending on the material and brand. Some high-end products may include odor-proof designs or more durable materials, and their prices will be higher.
