Mobile Toilet Bag Replacement
Admin 24 de septiembre de 2026
Due to the lack of detailed general steps for replacing the packing bags in mobile toilet urinals, the following are the core steps for replacing urinary drainage bags and ostomy bags for reference.

Replacing Urinary Drainage Bags
- Prepare items: Prepare in advance all necessary items such as disposable urinary drainage bags, sterile gloves, disinfectant, cotton swabs, etc. Ensure that all items are complete and within their expiration dates to ensure smooth operation.
- Hand washing and disinfection: Before the operation, wash hands with soap and running water or use a quick hand disinfectant for hand disinfection. This is an important step in preventing infection and can effectively reduce bacterial transmission.
- Clamp the urinary catheter: Wear sterile gloves and use a vascular clamp to clamp the urinary catheter to prevent urine from flowing out and avoid contamination of the surrounding environment and items during the replacement process.
- Separate the old bag: Carefully separate the interface between the urinary catheter and the old urinary bag. Be gentle to avoid excessive pulling on the urinary catheter and prevent damage or displacement of the catheter.
- Disinfect the interface: Thoroughly disinfect the interface of the urinary catheter with disinfectant and cotton swabs to remove bacteria and dirt from the interface and reduce the risk of infection.
- Connect the new bag: Accurately connect the interface of the new urinary bag with the urinary catheter to ensure a tight connection and prevent urine leakage.
- Fix and check: Properly fix the urinary bag to avoid shaking or compression of the bag. Check whether the urine drainage is smooth and whether there are any twists or compressions.
- Organize and record: Organize the items and put the waste items into a medical trash can. Record the time of replacing the urinary bag and the characteristics of the urine for subsequent observation and care.
Replacing Ostomy Bags
- Empty the ostomy bag: First, empty the feces or urine in the colostomy bag to avoid overflow during the replacement process.
- Wash hands: Wash hands with soap and water to keep them clean and prevent bacterial infection of the stoma and skin.
- Remove the old bag: Gently remove the old small bag. Be gentle to avoid damaging the skin around the stoma.
- Check the condition: Check the skin and stoma for any abnormalities such as redness, swelling, damage, or infection.
- Clean the stoma: Clean the stoma with warm water or a special cleanser to keep it clean and dry.
- Protect the skin: Try using ostomy powder to protect the skin and reduce the irritation of feces or urine to the skin.
- Prepare the new bag: Depending on the size and shape of the stoma, the flange of the ostomy bag may need to be modified to fit the stoma.
- Add baby oil: Add an appropriate amount of baby oil to the new bag to act as a lubricant and prevent sticking.
- Attach the flange: Place the flange on the stoma and attach it to ensure a firm attachment and prevent leakage.
