Principle of Automatic Flushing in Mobile Toilets
The principle of automatic flushing in mobile toilets mainly involves infrared sensing, cumulative triggering, and flushing using pressure or siphon principles.

Infrared Sensing Principle: This is a relatively common method for automatic flushing in mobile toilets. Its core component is an infrared sensing device that can emit and receive infrared signals. When a person approaches the toilet's probe, the human body reflects infrared rays, which are then received by the infrared sensing device and converted into electrical signals. These electrical signals further control the opening of the solenoid valve. Once the solenoid valve opens, the waterway is connected, enabling automatic flushing. For example, in mobile toilets in some public places, when a user enters the toilet and approaches the sensing area, the infrared sensing device responds quickly, triggering the solenoid valve to open and release water, completing the flushing action. This method can promptly respond to user needs, enhancing convenience.
Cumulative Triggering Method: To save water resources, some mobile toilets adopt a cumulative triggering flushing method. The principle of this method is to install a counting device inside the toilet to count the number of users. When the number of users reaches a preset value, such as 10, the counting device sends a signal to control the flushing system to perform a flush. This method is suitable for places with high foot traffic and stringent water conservation requirements, such as mobile toilets at large-scale events. By reasonably setting the cumulative number of users, water waste can be effectively reduced while ensuring basic sanitary conditions in the toilet.
Flushing Process Principle: During the flushing process, the elevated water tank plays a crucial role. The water in the elevated water tank, due to its high position, possesses gravitational potential energy. When the solenoid valve opens, the water rushes down under pressure to flush the toilet. Additionally, some mobile toilets utilize the siphon principle. The siphon principle uses the water level difference to make water flow automatically without the need for additional power equipment like electric pumps. During flushing, through specific pipe design, the water in the tank forms a siphon phenomenon, quickly draining the sewage while completing the toilet flushing. This method is both energy-efficient and highly effective.
