Mobile Toilet Automatic Flushing

Admin 21 de septiembre de 2026

Mobile toilet automatic flushing mainly achieves automatic flushing based on the principle of infrared light reflection. Its working mechanism and common types are as follows:

I. Core Working Principle
The automatic flushing system of mobile toilets usually draws on the technology of sensor-based urinal flushers and adopts the principle of infrared light reflection. When a user approaches the urinal or squat toilet, the infrared emitting tube inside the device emits infrared light of a specific wavelength. This light reflects off the human body's surface and is captured by the infrared receiving tube within the same device. The receiving tube converts the light signal into an electrical signal, which, after subsequent circuit processing, triggers the control module to drive the solenoid valve to open, enabling automatic flushing. When the user leaves, the natural infrared light in the surrounding environment cannot be recognized by the receiving tube due to the lack of a human reflection source, and the solenoid valve automatically closes, stopping the water supply. This process requires no manual operation, effectively enhancing hygiene and convenience of use.

II. Common Types and Characteristics

  1. Dedicated Mobile Toilet Sensor System
This type of system is directly integrated into the mobile toilet, designed for squat toilets or sit-down toilets. Its infrared emitting and receiving modules are typically installed in front of or to the side of the toilet to ensure accurate capture of human reflection signals. The solenoid valve is tightly connected to the water supply pipeline, controlling water flow through rapid opening and closing. Some high-end models are also equipped with anti-false-triggering functions, such as adjusting infrared sensitivity or adding secondary sensing confirmation to avoid false flushing due to environmental interference.

  2. External Sensor Flusher
Sensor flushers designed for retrofitting ordinary toilets adopt a modular design, with core components including an infrared sensing button, a lithium battery power supply module, a flushing rod, and a control circuit. During installation, the flushing rod replaces the original manual flushing valve, and the sensing button is fixed to the side of the toilet or the wall. A fully charged lithium battery can last for a year, reducing maintenance frequency. Its sensing range is approximately 1 meter. When a user enters the sensing area and stays for more than 15 seconds, the system determines it as the 'small flush' mode (suitable for urination) and automatically controls the amount of water flushed; if the stay is short or no long-term sensing is triggered, the standard flushing procedure is executed.

III. Technological Advantages and Application Scenarios
The sensor flushing technology reduces the risk of bacterial transmission through non-contact operation, making it particularly suitable for public health scenarios such as mobile toilets in scenic spots, construction sites, and temporary event venues. Its low-power design (such as lithium battery-powered models) and rapid response characteristics (millisecond-level solenoid valve opening and closing) further enhance its practicality. Additionally, modular external devices provide a low-cost solution for upgrading traditional toilets, enabling intelligent transformation without replacing the entire bathroom facilities.
