What to Do About Mobile Toilet Aging

Admin 10 de octubre de 2026

Mobile toilet aging can be improved through targeted protective measures and daily maintenance, which should be implemented according to the different causes of environmental erosion and human-induced wear and tear.

Protective Measures Against Environmental Erosion

  1. UV Protection: Prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause plastic and fiberglass materials to fade, become brittle, and develop surface weathering and cracks. Avoid prolonged exposure of the equipment to sunlight in daily use. When not in use, cover it with a sunshade cloth and store it in a well-ventilated and shaded place.
  2. Rainwater Immersion Prevention: Long-term immersion in rainwater can cause mold and aging of the bottom sealing rubber strips, leading to water leakage. After rain, promptly clean up accumulated water, dry the bottom of the toilet body, maintain dryness and corrosion resistance, and regularly replace the sealing rubber strips.
  3. Salt Spray and Exhaust Gas Corrosion Prevention: Coastal salt spray and chemical exhaust gases can corrode the toilet body and accelerate the rusting and jamming of metal fittings. Regularly lubricate metal hinges and repair small cracks to reduce the risk of corrosion.
  4. Temperature Difference Protection: Excessive temperature differences between day and night can cause materials to expand and contract, widen the gaps between joints, and reduce sealing performance. Promptly repair small cracks to maintain sealing performance.
  5. Exterior Wall Panel Protection: For issues such as aging, embrittlement, and discoloration of exterior wall panels, BOPET anti-aging film can be used. It has strong weather resistance and can effectively extend the outdoor service life.

Protective Measures Against Human-Induced Wear and Tear

  1. Standardize Usage Behavior: Prohibit the random throwing of debris that can cause pipeline blockages and mechanical jamming. Post usage instructions to guide people on proper toilet use. Avoid violent opening and closing of doors and collisions with heavy objects that can cause door panel deformation and hinge breakage.
  2. Regular Cleaning and Disinfection: Regularly and thoroughly empty waste and conduct deep disinfection to reduce internal corrosion. Prevent long-term non-removal of waste from causing excessive pressure in the fecal storage tank and aggravating internal corrosion of the toilet body.
  3. Storage Environment Management: Keep the storage environment tidy to prevent sharp building materials from scratching the surface of the toilet body and damaging the protective structure.
  4. Standardize Transfer and Hoisting: When transferring and hoisting, identify the dedicated lifting points, ensure smooth lifting and lowering, and reduce collision damage. Avoid frequent violent transfer and hoisting that can cause the bottom to deform under force and lead to weld seam cracking and leakage.
  5. Cleaning Agent Selection: When cleaning, avoid using inferior agents or strong acids to flush the inner walls to prevent corrosion of the surface protective coating, which can cause peeling and affect aesthetics and sealing performance.

Daily Tips for Auxiliary Improvement

Apply soap or use perfume to wipe the mirror surface to form a protective film and prevent mirror blurring; use leftover cola to clean the toilet; apply wax to the tile joints to reduce mold growth; soak the showerhead in vinegar solution to keep it unobstructed; use lemon peels or used dried tea leaves to eliminate toilet odors.
