Introduction to Materials for Mobile Shower Toilets

Admin 09 de octubre de 2026

Common materials for mobile shower toilets include high-density waterproof fabric, specially treated stainless steel sheets, color-coated steel sheets, metal materials, plastic/composite materials, and other special materials, each with distinct characteristics and suitable scenarios.

High-density waterproof fabric is commonly used in simple home-use mobile toilet shower tents. It is waterproof, light-blocking, durable, and easy to fold and store. It also provides good privacy protection and some insulation, making it suitable for outdoor activities such as camping and fishing, as well as for backup bathrooms at home.

Specially treated stainless steel sheets are often used in mobile toilets for construction sites or outdoor events. They are highly corrosion-resistant, have a long service life, and are lightweight, allowing for easy handling by a single person. They are simple to install, offer spacious interiors, and are equipped with basic facilities such as toilets and sinks, with excellent waterproof and moisture-proof properties.

Color-coated steel sheets are used in mobile eco-friendly toilets, offering resistance to wind pressure, aging, corrosion, and fire, as well as insulation, moisture resistance, and acid-alkali resistance. The exterior walls are made of metal-embossed insulation panels, the interior walls are double-sided fireproof panels, the ceiling is lightweight PVC hollow扣板 (Note: '扣板' is translated as 'cladding panels' here for clarity, but a more specific term may be used depending on context), the roof uses asphalt shingles with galvanized sheets, and the floor is double-layered anti-slip and corrosion-resistant, combining water conservation, convenience of use, and environmental pollution prevention.

Among metal materials, aluminum alloy is the mainstream material for the frames and skeletons of mobile toilets. It is lightweight and highly corrosion-resistant, with surfaces that can be anodized or fluorocarbon-sprayed for excellent rust resistance. It is easy to process and shape, suitable for frequent movement or humid environments. Stainless steel is mainly used for hardware, door hinges, and some exterior finishes inside the toilet, offering extremely high corrosion resistance, suitable for coastal, high-humidity, or chemically corrosive environments, but with higher costs and greater processing difficulty.

In plastic/composite materials, PVC panels are commonly used for interior partitions, wall panels, and ceiling panels in toilets, offering waterproofing, moisture resistance, and easy cleaning. Their surfaces can be printed with patterns to enhance aesthetics, and they are lightweight and low-cost. Fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP), composed of resin and glass fibers, is used for toilet shells or overall structures, with strength close to that of steel but only 1/4 to 1/3 of its weight, offering corrosion resistance and aging resistance, though its surface is prone to scratches and has high repair costs.

Among other materials, rock wool sandwich panels are used for toilet ceilings or partitions, with rock wool filling providing effective sound insulation and heat insulation, achieving a Class A fire rating, suitable for densely populated areas. High-density polyethylene (HDPE) panels offer high strength, impact resistance, and UV resistance, commonly used for toilet bases and exterior decorations. Galvanized square tubes and galvanized steel sheets are used for welding the main structure, with high-temperature spray coating on the surface for corrosion and rust prevention, offering a smooth and attractive appearance. Bamboo-wood fiber panels are used for wall decorations, being eco-friendly and aesthetically pleasing.
