Mobile Public Toilet
A mobile public toilet, also known as a mobile toilet, is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides toilet services to the public. It is introduced from multiple aspects below:

Applicable Places
It is suitable for stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential communities, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets. For example, in 2023, mobile toilets were installed and put into use in the scenic area along the Yellow River in Lanzhou, and the new mobile public toilet vehicles served the "Gull Watching Season".
Composition Structure
It generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or disposal device), floor slab, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and mobile device. The exterior wall materials can be color-coated steel plates or metal carved plates, and the main structure is welded with national standard light steel keels. Standard configurations include toilet bowls (urinals), coat hooks, etc., and optional configurations include air conditioners (both heating and cooling) and air purifiers.
Development History
Initially made of wood, it had a simple structure and function and was prone to absorbing odors. Later, it evolved to use materials such as fiberglass and polyethylene. It emerged during the third public toilet revolution (from the 1990s to the end of the 20th century). Since 2012, it has gradually developed, forming multiple technical routes and sub-categories with diverse product forms.
Classification
- By structural form: It is divided into single-unit and composite-structure mobile toilets.
- By mobility method: It is divided into hoisting and handling types and powered and towed types of mobile toilets.
- By sewage treatment method: It is divided into water-flushing and non-water-flushing suction types, circulating water-flushing types, and dry-packing types. The circulating water-flushing type is equipped with a treatment device, and the treated water can be recycled for flushing. The dry-packing type has no water-flushing device, and the excreta is collected by biodegradable plastic bags.
Features
- Flexible and convenient: Not restricted by fixed buildings, it can be flexibly deployed according to needs.
- Reusable: It can be transported to where it is needed and used multiple times.
- Environmentally friendly and energy-saving: It adopts new materials and water-saving technologies to achieve a clean flushing effect with a low amount of water, and there are various types of environmental protection technologies.
- Scientifically designed: The overall structure is lightweight, durable, and sturdy, taking into account the control of height and width. The mobile device is complete and reasonable, and it adopts an intelligent control system.
- Long service life: The frame is welded with national standard steel, and the surface is covered with anti-corrosion and fire-resistant materials, with a service life of more than 20 years.
- Widely applicable: It covers public places such as scenic spots, service areas, and rural areas, and the industrial chain involves production enterprises in multiple regions.
