Mobile Portable Toilet Installation Guide

Admin 08 de octubre de 2026

The installation of mobile portable toilets requires selecting the appropriate method based on the type. The installation steps for common general-purpose and homemade water storage tank types are as follows:

I. General-Purpose Mobile Toilet Installation (Refer to Manufacturer's Process)

  1. Tool Preparation
Upon receiving the goods, prepare tools such as an electric drill, 4.2mm drill bit, and rivet gun in advance. Some manufacturers may provide a dedicated tool kit; verify the tool list against the instruction manual.

  2. Structural Assembly

    • Corner Installation: Fix the corner pieces of the toilet frame sequentially, ensuring vertical alignment at each connection point. Corner pieces are typically made of metal or high-strength plastic and should be initially tightened with screws.
    • Panel Assembly: Insert side panels, back panels, and other components into the frame slots. Align the edges during assembly to prevent misalignment and structural instability. After assembly, use a 4.2mm drill bit to drill holes at the panel connections, with a recommended hole spacing of 10-15 cm.
    • Rivet Fixation: Insert rivets and use a rivet gun for final fixation. Ensure the rivets are fully expanded to tightly connect the panels to the frame and prevent loosening.
  3. Functional Component Installation
Some general-purpose toilets require additional installation of toilets, water tanks, or ventilation systems. Connect water pipes and electrical circuits (if equipped with lighting or ventilation) according to the instruction manual, and test for sealing and electrical safety.

II. Homemade Water Storage Tank Mobile Toilet Installation (Folk Case)

  1. Basic Frame Construction

    • Wheel Fixation: Use a plastic pallet as the base and install universal wheels at the four corners to ensure mobility.
    • Water Storage Tank Stacking: Stack two top-opening water storage tanks and fix the outer frame with self-tapping screws to form a water storage space. The recommended material for water storage tanks is high-density polyethylene (HDPE), which is corrosion-resistant and lightweight.
  2. Opening and Drainage Treatment

    • Doorway Cutting: Cut a rectangular doorway measuring 180 cm in height and 50 cm in width on the side of the frame. Smooth the edges to prevent cuts.
    • Drain Installation: Drill a hole in the interior floor and install an elbow pipe (recommended diameter of 50 mm) connected to the lower water storage tank or an external drain pipe to ensure smooth drainage.
  3. Toilet and Water System

    • Toilet Fixation: Align the toilet with the drain and secure it in place, sealing the surrounding area with waterproof glass glue to prevent leakage.
    • Water System Connection: Install a check valve on the water tank inlet pipe to prevent backflow; connect the shower hose to the faucet and add a filter at the outlet to prevent clogging from impurities.
  4. Door, Window, and Detail Improvement
Make a door using wooden boards and hinges, and install door handles and locks; add partitions or hooks inside to enhance practicality.

Precautions:

  • Check the ground levelness before installation to prevent toilet tilting.
  • Regularly inspect the water system sealing of homemade toilets to prevent water leakage.
  • For complex structures (such as hoisting/trailer types), contact the manufacturer or a professional for installation.
