Mobile Portable Toilet Construction

Admin 21 de septiembre de 2026

The following steps can be referred to for the construction of mobile portable toilets, which are suitable for construction sites or temporary scenarios:

I. Foundation Structure Construction

Select a high-strength plastic pallet as the base, ensuring its load-bearing capacity meets the requirements for equipment and personnel use. Install universal wheels at each of the four corners of the pallet bottom, ensuring the wheels have locking functions to fix the position. This structure achieves overall mobility through the combination of the pallet and wheels, facilitating position adjustments as needed.

II. Water Storage Tank Modification and Fixation

  1. Tank Body Processing: Recycle large water storage tanks (e.g., plastic tanks over 200L). Use an angle grinder to cut along the marked line at the top, removing the top to form an open-top tank. Keep the edges flat during cutting to avoid scratches from burrs.
  2. Stacking and Fixation: Stack two open-top water storage tanks upside down and use self-tapping screws to fix the outer frame connections, ensuring structural stability. The total height after stacking should reserve space for door opening installation.

III. Opening and Drainage System Installation

  1. Door Opening Cutting: Cut a rectangular opening measuring 180 cm in height and 50 cm in width on the outer frame of the water storage tank as the door opening, simultaneously cutting the tank body to form the doorway. After cutting, polish the edges to prevent scratches.
  2. Drainage System: Drill a hole in the interior floor, insert a 45-degree elbow, and connect it to a PVC pipe. Seal the gaps with waterproof glue and then cut off the excess part. The drainage pipe should be inclined at 5-10 degrees to ensure natural flow of sewage.

IV. Sanitary Facility Installation

  1. Toilet Fixation: Place the toilet aligned with the drainage opening and fix it with glass glue around the perimeter; connect the water inlet pipe of the toilet tank and test the flushing function for normal operation.
  2. Handwashing Facility: Fix the water pipe with wall clamps, install a faucet, pipe cap, and drainage pipe outlet; make a handwashing basin with a stainless steel basin and fix it, ensuring a drainage hole is reserved at the bottom of the basin.
  3. Shower Facility: Install a shower hose, bracket, and showerhead, adjusting the height to 1.8-2 meters; finally, install the toilet seat to ensure comfort during use.

V. Door Fabrication and Completion

Fix hinges on the water storage tank frame, connect a 1.2 cm thick wooden board to form the door, and install door handles and locks. The door should fit tightly with the door opening, with gaps not exceeding 0.5 cm. After completion, check the sealing of all connections to ensure no risk of water leakage.

Precautions: Before construction, confirm the flatness of the site to avoid uneven force on the wheels; regularly clean the water storage tank to prevent odors; the drainage pipe should be connected to a septic tank or sewage collection device to comply with environmental protection requirements.
