How to Use Mobile Paid Toilets

Admin 28 de septiembre de 2026

The usage process for mobile paid toilets is as follows:

1. Locate the Toilet Users need to locate nearby mobile public toilets through city official websites or mobile applications (such as apps like 'Public Toilet Finder', 'Shanghai Public Toilet Guide', 'Intimate Urban Management', etc.). These platforms typically integrate information on the distribution of public toilets and support real-time navigation functions to help users quickly find the target facilities.

2. Pay the Fee Payment methods vary by region and mainly fall into three categories:

  • Mobile Payment: In some cities (such as Beijing), mobile public toilets support electronic payments like Alipay and WeChat. Users can complete the payment directly through their mobile phones.
  • QR Code Payment: Taking Hangzhou as an example, users need to scan the QR code on the toilet door, pay a basic fee (such as 1 yuan per use), and additional fees will be automatically added for overtime use (0.5 yuan every 5 minutes). After successful payment, the door lock will open automatically, and the system will simultaneously send an electronic invoice to the user's mobile phone.
  • Manual Payment: Some public toilets have staff at the entrance for collecting fees. Users can pay in cash or obtain a voucher (such as a payment screenshot or receipt) through electronic payment as proof of use.

3. Use the Toilet After entering the public toilet, users need to follow the internal instructions. For example, mobile public toilets in Hangzhou start a 15-minute countdown and remind users through voice prompts when the time is about to end. If additional time is needed, users need to complete the extra payment by scanning the code or through the system interface.

4. Clean Up After Use Some mobile public toilets are equipped with self-cleaning functions, but users still need to follow basic hygiene standards, such as not littering and avoiding contaminating the facilities. If there are cleaning prompts (such as buttons or instruction signs) inside the toilet, users should cooperate and complete simple operations (such as flushing and putting items back in place) to maintain a clean environment.

5. Leave the Toilet After use, users need to leave in an orderly manner according to the instructions (such as exit signs and voice guidance). If overtime payment is involved, ensure that the system has completed the deduction to avoid the door lock not opening due to non-payment. Some public toilets may require users to show payment vouchers (such as electronic invoices or receipts) before leaving.

Precautions:

  • Confirm the payment method and fee standard before use to avoid being stranded due to improper operation.
  • Overtime use may incur additional fees, so pay attention to the countdown prompts and handle them in a timely manner.
  • Maintain hygiene in the public toilet and jointly safeguard the user experience of public facilities.
