Mobile Non-flushing Toilet

Admin 21 de septiembre de 2026

A mobile non-flushing toilet is an environmentally friendly toilet that can treat waste without the need for traditional water flushing. It is also known as a waterless toilet, eco-toilet, ecological toilet, or mobile toilet, with the international generic name being a toilet without a sewer connection.

Technical Principles and Types
Mobile non-flushing toilets replace the water-flushing function with physical, biological, or chemical technologies, eliminating dependence on water supply networks. Their core types include:

  1. Biodegradable Type: Equipped with a composite microbial community inside, it can operate stably at temperatures as low as 40°C. Through microbial decomposition of waste, it achieves harmless treatment. This type of toilet is suitable for regions with variable climates or low temperatures, and the treatment process is odorless, meeting environmental protection requirements.
  2. Mechanical Packaging Type: It uses mechanical devices to seal and package waste, requiring no water, electricity, or sewage disposal. It can be used immediately upon placement. Its advantage lies in its strong adaptability, especially suitable for scenarios lacking infrastructure, such as mountainous areas in scenic spots, outdoor camping sites, and large event venues, avoiding secondary pollution to the environment.
  3. Stainless Steel Civil Defense Model: Made of food-grade 304 stainless steel with thickened plates, it features impact resistance, rust prevention, and corrosion resistance. It is suitable for enclosed or semi-enclosed spaces such as basements and air-raid shelters. Its structure is stable, allowing for long-term use with low maintenance costs.

Application Scenarios and Advantages
These toilets are suitable for a wide range of scenarios, including areas without water supply and sewage systems (such as remote mountainous areas and deserts), temporary event venues (such as music festivals and sports events), and special-need locations (such as civil defense projects). Their core advantages include:

  • Environmental Friendliness: Reduces water consumption and avoids soil and water pollution caused by sewage discharge;
  • Flexibility: Modular design facilitates transportation and installation, enabling rapid deployment;
  • Economy: Long-term operating costs are lower than those of traditional water-flushing toilets, especially suitable for regions with scarce water resources or weak infrastructure.

Standards and Specifications
Mobile non-flushing toilets must comply with the GB/T18092-2000 standard for waterless toilets, which came into effect on October 1, 2000. This standard specifies design, production, and usage requirements to ensure that products meet national standards in terms of hygiene, safety, and environmental performance, providing a technical basis for the construction of sanitation facilities in locations without sewer connections.
