Mobile Living Container House
Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026
The mobile living container house is a movable living or office space transformed from a standard container as a carrier. It features modularity, quick assembly and disassembly, and reusability, and is widely used in scenarios such as construction site dormitories, scenic area homestays, and temporary offices.

I. Structural Types and Characteristics
- Welded Integral Box: It is welded as a whole in the factory, with a direct load-bearing path (roof load → side wall columns → bottom beams → ground), and has strong resistance to deformation, making it suitable for frequent lifting and moving.
- Bolt-Connected Assembled Box: It uses standard plates connected by bolts. There are multiple nodes in the load-bearing path, and the tightness of the nodes affects the overall stability. When purchasing, it is necessary to check the wall thickness of the steel used for the columns and bottom beams (common specifications are 1.5-3 mm). The thicker the wall thickness, the greater the load-bearing redundancy, but the self-weight also increases accordingly.
II. Performance and Scenario Adaptation
- Structural Stability: High-quality products adopt a full steel structure frame, with a wind resistance rating of up to Level 12 and an earthquake resistance rating of Level 8, and the frame deformation rate is lower than 0.3% (the industry's qualified threshold). Under extreme working conditions, it is necessary to prioritize verifying the wind and earthquake resistance test reports and avoid choosing unqualified off-brand products (the deformation rate generally exceeds 1.2%, posing safety hazards).
- Installation Efficiency: The installation time for a single set varies depending on the product. For example, the quick-assembly box from Suzhou Zhongnan only takes 2 hours and supports on-demand assembly and combination; the CIMC standard container house takes 3 hours, and the layout adjustment is limited; some off-brand products may take more than 8 hours for a single set installation due to non-standard processes, resulting in project delays.
- Spatial Expandability: The expandable container can increase the usable area by 30%-50% by adding side or end expansion cabins, making it suitable for long-term on-site office work; the foldable container can be compressed to 1/5-1/4 of its expanded volume during transportation, and a single truck can load 15-20 sets, significantly reducing transportation costs.
III. Material and Process Requirements
- Durability: Qualified products need to withstand inspection in terms of material selection, welding process, and overall design. For example, the Yunnan Hongfeng container adopts a unique process, and the product has wind, rain, sound, heat, and thermal insulation properties, with a service life of up to 50 years.
- Functional Configuration: Customized products can incorporate elements such as glass curtain walls and wood grain finishes to balance functionality and visual expression; the basic configuration usually includes wall insulation, double-glazed windows, anti-slip floors, LED lighting, and pre-embedded circuit interfaces.
