Mobile Human Toilet

Admin 22 de septiembre de 2026

A mobile toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides public restroom services. The number of people it can accommodate at one time varies depending on the type and design specifications, typically ranging from 3 to 20 or more.

The composition of a mobile toilet includes a fecal sewage storage tank (or disposal device), flooring, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices, among others. There are various classification methods:

  1. By structural form: It is divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. The single-structure type is independent and complete, while the composite-structure type is composed of multiple single units.
  2. By mobility method: It includes lifting and handling types (relying on manual or mechanical handling), as well as powered and towed types (equipped with a power system or capable of being towed for movement).
  3. By sewage treatment method: It is classified into water-flushing and non-water-flushing suction types (relying on a water source or regular suction for fecal treatment), circulating water-flushing types (using a filtration system to recycle water), and dry-packing types (using biodegradable bags to collect feces without the need for a water source).

The number of people that can be accommodated at one time is directly related to the type:

  • Single-unit mobile toilets: Usually designed for 3 to 5 people to use simultaneously, with a compact space suitable for low-traffic scenarios such as parks and small construction sites. Their lightweight structure facilitates rapid deployment.
  • Double-unit or multi-unit combined mobile toilets: By connecting two or more single units, they can accommodate 6 to 10 people simultaneously, making them suitable for medium-traffic venues such as tourist attractions and small event sites, balancing capacity and flexibility.
  • Container-type mobile toilets: Based on standard container modifications, with optimized internal layouts, they can accommodate 10 to 20 people or even more. They have spacious interiors with clearly defined functional areas (such as separate men's and women's restrooms and a management room), making them suitable for high-traffic occasions such as large exhibitions and sports events.

The design principles emphasize mobility convenience (using lightweight and durable materials, controlling height and width), environmental friendliness (reducing pollution and prioritizing non-water-flushing or circulating water technologies), and humanitarian care (ensuring barrier-free facilities and enhancing user comfort). The mobile devices must be complete and reasonable to ensure stability and safety during transportation and installation.
