Mobile House Container Purlin

Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026

Mobile house container purlins typically use Z-section steel or C-section steel, with Z-section steel purlins being the mainstream choice. Their design and performance characteristics are as follows:

1. Mechanical Properties and Structural Advantages
The cross-section of Z-section steel purlins is in a 'Z' shape, which gives them bidirectional load-bearing capacity. They can withstand the vertical pressure from roof snow and also stably transfer the tensile force from wall panels to columns, forming an efficient mechanical structure. Compared to ordinary square tubes, Z-section steel reduces its own weight by about one-third while doubling its load-bearing capacity, significantly reducing material usage and transportation costs. Its cold-formed thin-walled high-strength structure ensures strength while improving material utilization, making it suitable for large-span lightweight buildings.

2. Corrosion Resistance and Durability
Z-section steel purlins usually undergo hot-dip galvanizing for corrosion protection, with a zinc layer thickness of over 65μm, forming a dense oxide film that effectively resists corrosive environments such as humidity and salt spray. Experimental data shows that in coastal areas with high salt spray, the corrosion-resistant lifespan of galvanized Z-section steel purlins exceeds 15 years, much longer than the 3-5 years of ordinary carbon steel, greatly reducing later maintenance costs.

3. Construction Efficiency and Precision Control
The standardized holes pre-reserved on the purlins support bolt connections, eliminating the need for on-site welding. Four workers can complete the assembly of the framework of a standard container measuring 5950mm×3000mm×2800mm in just 3 hours. The hole position accuracy is controlled within ±2mm, ensuring tight wall panel joints. The airtightness meets the Grade 4 standard specified in the national standard GB/T 7106-2008, effectively reducing heat loss and lowering air conditioning energy consumption by more than 20%.

4. Modularity and Adaptability
Z-section steel purlins are highly compatible with the modular design of containers, supporting rapid assembly, disassembly, and relocation. Their standardized dimensions (such as 100×50×20×2.5mm) can match various container specifications. By adjusting the purlin spacing (usually 600-1200mm), they can flexibly adapt to different load requirements and are widely used in scenarios such as construction site dormitories, cultural and tourism homestays, and emergency camps.

5. Economy and Environmental Protection
Compared to traditional brick-and-mortar structures, the construction period of Z-section steel purlin container houses is shortened by 90%, and the material recovery rate exceeds 90%, meeting green building standards. Taking Hubei as an example, the comprehensive cost of a single container house is 40% lower than that of traditional temporary buildings, and it can be reused 5-8 times, showing significant advantages in full lifecycle costs.
