Mobile Home Container Foundation

Admin 17 de septiembre de 2026

The foundations for container mobile homes mainly include four types: concrete foundation, crushed stone cushion foundation, strip foundation, and pile foundation, each suitable for different sites and usage requirements.

Concrete foundation is the most commonly used type, divided into integral concrete foundation and independent concrete foundation. The integral concrete foundation is formed by pouring concrete over a large area to create a flat and sturdy base, with strong load-bearing capacity and high stability, suitable for long-term fixed mobile homes, such as those used as office spaces or long-term residences. The independent concrete foundation only pours concrete at the positions of the mobile home's columns, dispersing the load by locally reinforcing the support points, saving materials and construction costs, and is suitable for temporary mobile homes, such as short-term construction site dormitories or temporary warehouses.

Crushed stone cushion foundation is simple to construct and low in cost, formed by evenly laying crushed stones on a flat ground and compacting them. This type of foundation is suitable for temporary use in sites that are flat and have good soil bearing capacity, such as temporary construction site buildings or short-term exhibition buildings. However, the load-bearing capacity of the crushed stone cushion is relatively weak, and uneven settlement may occur if the site's soil conditions are poor or the load on the mobile home is large.

Strip foundation involves pouring a strip of concrete along the length of the mobile home, enhancing overall stability through a continuous support structure. It has strong load-bearing capacity and is suitable for modular mobile homes or scenarios with heavy loads, such as multi-module temporary hospitals or large storage buildings. The strip foundation can effectively disperse the load, preventing the mobile home from shifting due to excessive local stress, and has high construction efficiency.

Pile foundation involves driving piles (such as steel pipe piles or concrete piles) deep into the soil to transfer the load to a deep stable soil layer, suitable for sites with poor soil bearing capacity, low-lying terrain, or water accumulation, such as mobile home construction in swamps or backfilled soil areas. The pile foundation can significantly improve load-bearing capacity, preventing the mobile home from sinking or tilting, but it is more difficult to construct and has higher costs, typically used in harsh site conditions or scenarios with extremely high stability requirements.
