The sizes of mobile container houses vary depending on the type and customization requirements. Here are some common standard sizes:

I. Sizes of International Standard Container Houses International standard container houses mainly include 20-foot (20GP), 40-foot (40GP), and 40-foot high-cube (40HQ) containers. Their internal and external dimensions are as follows:

  • 20GP: Internal dimensions are 5867mm in length, 2330mm in width, and 2350mm in height; external dimensions are 6058mm in length, 2438mm in width, and 2591mm in height.
  • 40GP: Internal dimensions are 11998mm in length, 2330mm in width, and 2350mm in height; external dimensions are 12192mm in length, 2438mm in width, and 2591mm in height.
  • 40HQ: Internal dimensions are 11998mm in length, 2330mm in width, and 2655mm in height; external dimensions are 12192mm in length, 2438mm in width, and 2896mm in height. In addition, the 45-foot high-cube (45HQ) container has internal dimensions of 13497mm in length, 2330mm in width, and 2655mm in height, and external dimensions of 13716mm in length, 2438mm in width, and 2896mm in height. These dimensions are based on international maritime standards and are suitable for scenarios requiring overall transportation.

II. Sizes of Non-standard Customized Container Houses Non-standard container houses can be flexibly customized according to customer needs. Common sizes include:

  • 3M×6M: Some manufacturers use 3 meters in width and 6 meters in length as standard specifications, with a typical height of 2.8 meters, suitable for construction site dormitories, offices, etc.
  • Modular Combination Sizes: Through modular design, container houses can achieve space expansion. For example, a standard unit has dimensions of 6055mm in length, 2435mm in width, and 2790mm in height, and can form spaces ranging from 15 to 200 square meters through combination.
  • Special-purpose Sizes: For example, platform containers can be over 6 meters in length, over 4 meters in width, and about 4.5 meters in height, suitable for loading heavy or oversized cargo; ventilated containers and insulated containers adjust their internal structures according to cargo characteristics, with sizes similar to those of standard containers.

III. Other Common Sizes Some manufacturers offer more flexible size options, such as:

  • 3M×2M×2.8M, 4M×8M×2.8M, etc., suitable for small-scale scenarios like mobile restrooms and temporary houses.
  • Double-story Packed Container Houses: The standard size is 3 meters by 6 meters with a height of 2.8 meters, increasing the usable area through double-story design.
