How to Solve Restroom Issues for Mobile Coffee Carts
Mobile coffee carts generally do not come equipped with restroom facilities. To address restroom needs, operators typically rely on external public restrooms or install additional portable restrooms.

Relying on External Public Restrooms
This is the most common solution for mobile coffee cart operators. Given their high mobility, these carts can operate in various locations across the city, such as commercial streets, parks, and squares, which are often equipped with public restrooms. Operators can plan their restroom routes in advance based on the actual operating location. For example, when operating on a commercial street, they can identify restroom locations in nearby malls or office buildings; when operating in a park, they can use the park's public restrooms. This approach requires no additional modifications to the coffee cart, keeping costs low. However, it demands time and effort from the operator to find suitable restrooms and may interrupt work during operation, potentially affecting business efficiency.
Installing Additional Portable Restrooms
For operators with higher demands or those wishing to provide more convenient services, integrating a portable restroom into the cart is an option. These portable restrooms are independent sanitary facilities that require additional installation. They come in various types, such as vehicle-mounted toilets and foldable toilets. Vehicle-mounted toilets are typically installed in a suitable location inside the vehicle and connected to a sewage tank via pipes. After use, the sewage tank can be removed for cleaning. Foldable toilets can be folded up when not in use to save space and unfolded when needed. While installing a portable restroom offers convenience for both operators and customers, it also has drawbacks. On the one hand, the installation process incurs costs, including equipment purchase and installation fees. On the other hand, it occupies a certain amount of space inside the coffee cart, potentially requiring a redesign of the cart's layout and affecting the placement and operation of coffee-making equipment.
