Mobile Canvas Toilet

The mobile canvas toilet is a portable toilet developed by the Japanese design studio Nendo, featuring a unique design and practical functionality.

Components

The mobile canvas toilet is mainly composed of six parts. The C-shaped seat ring is the key component for users to sit on. Its shape is ergonomically designed to provide a relatively comfortable sitting experience. The four lightweight aluminum rods serve as supports. They are light in weight, easy to carry, and have sufficient strength to support the entire toilet structure. The garbage bag is used to collect excrement, which is an important part of maintaining hygiene. A large piece of lightweight canvas is one of the features of this toilet. It is not only light and easy to carry but also has certain waterproof and windproof properties. The coagulant is used to coagulate the liquid part of the excrement, reducing odor emission and improving the user experience. The backpack that holds all the above items can not only store these components but also store 16 liters of water. In emergencies, this stored water can be used for cleaning and other purposes.

Assembly and Use

Its assembly and use process are relatively simple. During assembly, first fix the garbage bag on the C-shaped seat ring to ensure that the garbage bag will not slip and can accurately collect excrement. Then, use the four lightweight aluminum rods to support the C-shaped seat ring with the fixed garbage bag to form a stable structure. When in use, the user wears the lightweight canvas like a raincoat, which can effectively block the body and protect privacy. After that, sit on the assembled C-shaped seat ring to use it normally.

Special Features

If equipped with an umbrella, combining the umbrella and the canvas can also set up a small shelter. This design further enhances the user's privacy protection and can resist wind and rain to a certain extent, providing users with a relatively comfortable and safe use environment. Whether in outdoor camping, disaster relief sites, or other scenarios where temporary toilets are needed, the mobile canvas toilet can play an important role due to its portability and practicality.
