Mile Container House Installation

Admin 16 de septiembre de 2026

The installation of container houses in Mile should follow a systematic process to ensure structural safety and functionality. The specific steps and key points are as follows:

I. Site and Foundation Preparation

  1. Site Selection: Prioritize flat, dry areas with good drainage. Clear debris and measure the site dimensions to ensure they match the house design.
  2. Foundation Construction: Choose a foundation type (e.g., concrete, steel, or wood) based on geological conditions, meeting moisture and earthquake resistance requirements. It is recommended to use a concrete or asphalt foundation and lay a waterproof barrier (e.g., breathable film) to prevent ground moisture from penetrating and causing rust on the container.

II. On-site Adjustment and Bottom Frame Installation

  1. Positioning and Leveling: Use a level to determine the installation direction of the container, ensuring it is placed horizontally with a diagonal difference of ≤3mm.
  2. Container Inspection: Check the container surface for smoothness and cracks to avoid structural instability caused by defects.
  3. Bottom Frame Assembly: Connect the bottom corners of the container to the bottom beams using hexagon socket bolts, without tightening them yet. Install π-shaped secondary beams and then lay the floor substrate (e.g., magnesium oxide board). Fix the floor according to the centerline markings, with nail spacing controlled at 300-350mm.

III. Frame Structure Construction

  1. Column and Beam Installation: Fix steel columns to the foundation and then install beams to form the frame, which is the load-bearing core. Ensure a secure connection.
  2. Container Hoisting: Use a crane to place the container steadily on the frame, keeping it vertical to avoid uneven structural stress due to tilting.

IV. Connection and Reinforcement

  1. Container Connection: Connect adjacent containers with steel plates by welding or bolting, ensuring alignment of the central axes and adjusting positions if necessary.
  2. Support Installation: Add brackets and protective nets to enhance stability. Especially check the tightness of welding points and bolts to prevent loosening.

V. Roof and Exterior Wall Facilities

  1. Functional Installation: Install doors, windows, roof panels, skylights, and rainwater pipes in sequence, ensuring tightness to prevent leakage.
  2. Aesthetic Treatment: Adjust exterior details according to design requirements, such as exterior wall decorative panels or paint, balancing practicality and visual appeal.

VI. Interior Space Optimization

  1. Moisture Prevention: Use moisture-proof materials like PVC floor adhesive to reduce the erosion of internal condensation on the structure.
  2. Space Planning: Reasonably divide functional areas and add ventilation equipment (e.g., exhaust fans) to improve air circulation.
  3. System Wiring: Lay electrical circuits and water supply and drainage pipes according to regulations. Test the tightness of sockets, lamps, and pipes to ensure safe use.

VII. Safety Protection and Acceptance

  1. Construction Safety: Construction personnel should wear safety helmets and protective shoes and control noise and dust pollution.
  2. Acceptance Criteria: Check structural stability, electrical safety, and waterproofing effects. Ensure there are no issues such as tilting, water leakage, or electrical short circuits before putting the house into use.

Precautions: The flatness of the ground directly affects the lifespan of the house, so tilting must be strictly avoided. Bolts and welding points should be regularly inspected. Interior materials should be eco-friendly to prevent the release of harmful gases.
