Microbial Mobile Environmental Toilet
The microbial mobile environmental toilet is an environmentally friendly sanitation facility based on microbial decomposition technology, requiring no water supply or sewerage pipes, and is mobile.

Core Functions and Principles:
This toilet degrades excreta through microbial strains, converting feces into carbon dioxide, water, and organic fertilizer. Its treatment process relies on microbial activity within the fermentation and degradation tank, combined with constant-temperature heating (approximately 800W) and mechanical stirring (spiral double-stirring cage structure) to achieve thorough mixing and decomposition of excreta and microbial strains. The treated gases are discharged in compliance with standards, and the residues are transformed into harmless organic fertilizer for recycling.
Structural and Operational Characteristics:
- Waterless Flushing Design: Utilizes photoelectric induction to trigger the opening and closing of movable baffles, eliminating the need for connection to a water supply pipe. No water is required for flushing during use, and the PLC control system precisely regulates microbial degradation conditions to ensure treatment efficiency.
- Energy Consumption and Maintenance: Daily power consumption ranges from 3 to 5 kilowatt-hours, and microbial strains need to be replaced every 3 to 6 months, resulting in relatively low maintenance costs.
- Toilet Body Structure: The steel-frame cement composite structure provides excellent thermal insulation performance, with a service life exceeding 20 years. Some models are equipped with an intelligent temperature control system, capable of operating at temperatures exceeding 60°C, which also serves as a sterilization and disinfection function, supporting use in extreme environments as low as -28°C.
Application Scenarios and Advantages:
- Areas without Sewage Discharge Permits: Suitable for scenic spots, alpine and water-scarce regions, public places, and construction sites lacking traditional sewage disposal facilities.
- Water Conservation and Environmental Protection: The technology was adopted in 13 venues during the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, and the carbon-neutral public toilets deployed in Chengdu in 2024 saved over 3,000 tons of water annually, significantly reducing water consumption.
- Resource Recycling: Excreta is converted into organic fertilizer, achieving waste resource utilization and aligning with sustainable development principles.
Technological Value:
The microbial mobile environmental toilet breaks free from the reliance on water supply and sewerage pipes of traditional toilets through biodegradation technology, combining environmental friendliness, economic efficiency, and adaptability to provide an innovative solution for public facility construction and ecological protection.
