Meishan Mobile Public Toilets
Meishan mainly has two situations regarding mobile public toilets: community purchases and rental services.
In terms of community purchases, taking Zhangkan Community in Songjiang Town as an example, in November 2023, the community invested 6,200 yuan to purchase one mobile public toilet and placed it on Xuezheng Street, which has a large flow of people. This initiative is managed and maintained by the community, temporarily solving the problem of difficult toilet access for market-goers. This indicates that some communities in Meishan have recognized the importance of mobile public toilets in addressing public toilet issues and have taken practical actions to improve the toilet environment for residents and tourists. The flexibility and convenience of mobile public toilets enable them to be quickly deployed where needed, meeting toilet demands in specific scenarios.
Regarding rental services, Meishan has numerous mobile toilet rental services that can be widely applied in various scenarios such as marathons, music festivals, concerts, and construction sites. Several companies offer relevant services, including Changjiu Industry, Sichuan Jingqing Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., and Yibingsi Mobile Toilets. These companies provide a diverse range of mobile toilets, which may include single toilets, connected toilets, trailer toilets, etc., to meet the needs of different scenarios. The advantage of rental services is that they can flexibly adjust the quantity and type of toilets according to the scale and duration of the event, avoiding unnecessary waste and costs. At the same time, rental companies usually take charge of toilet transportation, installation, maintenance, and cleaning, reducing the burden on event organizers.
These initiatives by Meishan in mobile public toilets reflect the city's progress and innovation in public facility construction and management. By combining community purchases and rental services, Meishan has effectively solved the problem of public toilet access, enhancing the city's image and the quality of life for residents. In the future, with urban development and population growth, Meishan is expected to continue improving the layout and management of mobile public toilets, providing residents and tourists with more convenient and comfortable toilet environments.
