Materials for Making Mobile Toilets
The materials required for making mobile toilets mainly include six categories: basic structural materials, mobile components, sanitary equipment, piping systems, door components, and optional energy equipment, as detailed below:

Basic Structural Materials Water storage tanks or barrels are the core materials for constructing the main frame of the toilet. Recycled plastic or metal water storage tanks can be used as the basic structure and modified through cutting and hole-making processes to create space for accommodating toilets, water tanks, and other equipment. If a composite structure is adopted, additional wooden boards or lightweight metal plates are needed to reinforce the frame and enhance overall stability.
Mobile Components Plastic pallets or trays serve as the bottom support platforms and must be load-bearing and corrosion-resistant. Casters should be installed at the four corners of the pallet bottom. Industrial-grade casters with brakes are preferred to ensure flexible movement and stable fixation.
Sanitary Equipment Toilets, toilet tanks, and toilet seats are the core sanitary components, and their types should be selected based on the sewage treatment method: water-flush types require standard toilets and tanks; non-water-flush suction types should be replaced with sealed toilets; and circulating water-flush types require additional filtration devices. Stainless steel basins can be modified into handwashing basins and need to be equipped with faucets and drains.
Piping Systems Water pipes, elbows, glue, and pipe caps are used to connect the toilet, tank, and drainage system. Pressure-resistant and corrosion-resistant PVC or PE materials should be selected. If a circulating water-flush type is adopted, additional water pumps and filtration pipes are needed; non-water-flush types require connection of suction pipes to the fecal storage tank.
Door Components Wooden boards are used to make door panels and need to be waterproofed; hinges should be made of stainless steel to ensure durability; door handles can be made of plastic or metal and must be securely fixed.
Optional Energy Equipment Solar energy equipment can be integrated on top of the water storage tank to power lighting, exhaust fans, or water pumps, suitable for scenarios without a power supply. It requires configuration of solar panels, batteries, and controllers to ensure a stable energy supply.
Material selection should be adjusted according to the type of mobile toilet: Single-unit structures are suitable for simple scenarios, with materials mainly consisting of water storage tanks and pallets; composite structures require additional frame reinforcement materials; water-flush types need a complete piping system, while non-water-flush types require suction equipment. All materials must comply with environmental protection standards to avoid environmental pollution.
