Low-Cost Reinforcement of Prefabricated Panel Houses

Admin 19 de septiembre de 2026

The methods for low-cost reinforcement of prefabricated panel houses mainly include foundation reinforcement, structural reinforcement, frame reinforcement, seismic isolation reinforcement, steel bar reinforcement, increasing floor slab section reinforcement, carbon fiber sheet reinforcement, grouting reinforcement, steel mesh reinforcement, and additional support reinforcement.

Foundation Reinforcement: Enhance the load-bearing capacity of the foundation by increasing its size, deepening its depth, or adding steel mesh. Additionally, reinforcing agents or foundation sealing materials can be added to improve the foundation's seismic performance, ensuring the stability of the house during natural disasters such as earthquakes.

Structural Reinforcement: Increase the overall strength and stiffness of the house by adding steel beams, columns, and plates at key locations such as walls, stairs, and roofs. Furthermore, reinforced concrete can be injected into the walls to enhance their seismic resistance, making the house structure more stable.

Frame Reinforcement: Strengthen the overall strength and stability of the house by adding metal frames to its exterior walls. Reinforcing agents or sealing materials can be incorporated into the frame structure to further improve its seismic resistance, providing additional protection for the house.

Seismic Isolation Reinforcement: Incorporate seismic isolation devices, such as spring isolators and rubber isolators, into the foundation or structure of the prefabricated panel house. These devices effectively reduce the impact of earthquakes on the building, minimizing earthquake-induced damage.

Steel Bar Reinforcement: Reinforce key parts of the house, such as walls, stairs, and beams and columns, by adding steel bars. This method significantly enhances the overall strength and stability of the house, improving its seismic performance.

Increasing Floor Slab Section Reinforcement: Increase the load-bearing capacity of the prefabricated floor slab by adding a reinforced concrete layer with a thickness of no less than 40 millimeters to its surface and bottom. This method is suitable for situations where the floor slab's load-bearing capacity is insufficient, effectively improving its performance.

Carbon Fiber Sheet Reinforcement: Adhere carbon fiber sheets to the tensioned parts of the prefabricated floor slab in its direction and set anchor points at the top. Carbon fiber sheets, known for their high strength and lightweight properties, significantly enhance the load-bearing capacity of the floor slab, with a short construction period and remarkable results.

Grouting Reinforcement, Steel Mesh Reinforcement, and Additional Support Reinforcement: Improve the overall strength and stability of the house and prevent deformation or cracking by grouting in walls or foundations, laying steel mesh on walls or floor slabs, and adding supports, respectively.
