Longquan Construction Site Portable Toilet Materials

Admin 08 de octubre de 2026

Common materials for portable toilets at construction sites in Longquan include light steel structures, color-coated steel plates, stainless steel plates, galvanized steel plates/metal carved panels, rock wool/polyurethane, non-slip floors, aluminum alloy profiles, etc. The specific selection should be determined based on the usage scenario, budget, and functional requirements.

Main Frame Materials
The main frame of portable toilets at construction sites usually adopts a light steel structure, made from high-strength steel through standardized welding processes. This material combines structural stability with lightweight characteristics, facilitating transportation and hoisting, especially suitable for construction sites requiring frequent relocation or temporary setup. The light steel structure exhibits excellent wind and earthquake resistance, effectively coping with the complex environment of construction sites.

Exterior Wall Materials

  1. Color-Coated Steel Plates: Composed of color-coated steel sheets and core materials such as foam or rock wool, they are lightweight, easy to install, and cost-effective, suitable for construction sites with strong temporary needs. Their surface coatings can prevent rust, but regular maintenance is required when exposed to harsh environments for extended periods.
  2. Stainless Steel Plates: Based on 304 or 316 stainless steel, they offer strong corrosion resistance, high durability, and a simple, modern appearance, suitable for construction site environments with high hygiene and aesthetic requirements, such as high-end construction projects or municipal engineering.
  3. Galvanized Steel Plates/Metal Carved Panels: When galvanized steel structures serve as the main frame, metal carved panels can be selected for the exterior walls to enhance decorative effects. The carved panels feature textures formed through embossing processes, combining rust prevention and heat insulation functions while enhancing visual appeal, suitable for scenarios requiring both practicality and aesthetics.

Internal Configuration Materials

  1. Thermal Insulation Layers: Internally, rock wool or polyurethane are commonly used for filling to prevent water pipes from freezing due to low winter temperatures, adapting to the large temperature variations between day and night at construction sites. Rock wool is cost-effective but has strong water absorption, while polyurethane offers better thermal insulation but at a higher price.
  2. Floor Materials: Usually, non-slip floors (such as PVC or rubber materials) are laid and paired with a waterproof layer to ensure safety and ease of cleaning. The surface texture of non-slip floors increases friction, reducing the risk of slipping, while the waterproof layer prevents sewage from penetrating and damaging the structure.
  3. Doors and Windows: Mostly, aluminum alloy profiles are used with insulated tempered glass, balancing light transmission and safety. Aluminum alloy is highly corrosion-resistant, and insulated glass effectively isolates noise and heat transfer, enhancing user comfort.

Special Requirement Materials
If environmentally friendly toilets are required at construction sites, microbial degradation or circulating water flushing technologies may be adopted. The main structure of such toilets still relies on steel structures but requires specialized treatment equipment, such as microbial culture boxes or sewage filtration systems, to achieve pollution-free discharge or water resource recycling.
