• Route Opening: The first container route from Long'an, Nanning Port to the Greater Bay Area (Guangzhou Xintang) has been opened. The vessel 'Xinggui 2069', loaded with 54 standard containers, set sail from the Baota Operation Area Wharf of Long'an Port Area, Nanning Port, heading towards Guangzhou Xintang Port. This route has established an efficient, economical, and green waterway logistics channel for Long'an's characteristic industries such as alumina and building materials, significantly boosting the high-quality development of the county's economy.
• Operational Goals: According to the plan, this route will achieve the goal of stably shipping 100 standard containers per month. Subsequently, the 'Nanning Long'an - Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area' container liner route will also aim to stably ship 300 standard containers per month, providing strong support for the development of related industries such as alumina and building materials in Long'an and its surrounding areas.
• Transportation Advantages: Compared to bulk cargo transportation, container transportation is more environmentally friendly, more convenient during transshipment, and has certain advantages in accelerating timeliness through multimodal transportation later on. The adoption of container transportation mode breaks through the limitations of traditional bulk cargo transportation, injects strong impetus into the development of 'bulk-to-container' conversion in the local area, reduces transportation costs, improves transportation timeliness, and aligns with the green development concept of the Greater Bay Area.

Situation of Long'an Port Area

• Project Overview: The Phase I project of the Baota Operation Area in Long'an Port Area, Nanning Port is an important node project of the Pinglu Canal Economic Belt and also one of the key projects for building the West River's 100-million-ton golden waterway. Located on the left bank of the Youjiang Waterway in Baota Village, Chengxiang Town, western Long'an County, Nanning City, the project has a total investment of approximately 432 million yuan, a designed annual throughput capacity of 5.47 million tons, and has constructed seven 1,000-ton bulk cargo berths. The main cargo types include minerals, sand and gravel, cement, and timber.
• Operational Situation: The operation area officially obtained its port operation permit and was fully put into operation on September 30, 2025. As of now, it has completed the import and export of over 1 million tons of various goods.
