Requirements for Light Steel Prefabricated Houses

Admin 18 de septiembre de 2026

The requirements for light steel prefabricated houses cover five core aspects: product quality, production process, design and material selection, component specifications, and land planning, as detailed below:

I. Product Quality Requirements
The main structure must use G550 high-strength galvanized aluminum-zinc light steel keels with a double-sided coating weight of ≥275g/㎡ to ensure corrosion resistance. Thermal insulation and sound insulation performance must meet standards, such as a 100mm glass wool insulation layer equivalent to a 1m brick wall, and wall sound insulation of ≥50dB, referencing the 'Civil Building Thermal Design Code' GB 50176-2016. Waterproofing and moisture resistance must be achieved through multiple processes, such as roof waterproofing + double-layer anti-corrosion paint, complying with the 'Roof Engineering Quality Acceptance Code' GB 50207-2012. The houses must be suitable for cold, snowy, and windy climates, with resistance to wind, snow, and freezing.

II. Production Process Requirements
Factory prefabrication is adopted, with components prefabricated in the factory and then assembled on-site through dry construction methods. The production process must be standardized, covering the entire process from raw material procurement to interior decoration assembly, ensuring full control and traceability. Before leaving the factory, products must pass strict tests for structure, waterproofing, electrical safety, thermal insulation, and airtightness to prevent the delivery of non-conforming products.

III. Design and Material Selection Requirements
Design must consider the terrain, with plans reviewed and approved by relevant authorities to ensure compliance with seismic and other safety standards, as well as harmony with the village landscape. Material selection must meet national environmental standards, such as steel free from harmful substances and thermal insulation materials that are energy-efficient to reduce energy consumption.

IV. Specifications and Parameters for Prefabricated Light Steel Keel Components
Wall studs must have a cross-section of 89mm×41mm and a wall thickness of 1.0-1.5mm. Floor joists must have a C-shaped cross-section with a height of 200/250mm and a web thickness of ≥1.2mm. Prefabricated hole spacing must be 305/406mm. Trusses must be composed of double C-shaped steel, with nodes fixed using self-drilling self-tapping screws (spacing 150mm) and structural adhesive. The surface must have indentations or pitting to enhance grip. Each keel must weigh ≤20kg. Third-party test reports are required, focusing on verifying yield strength and coating thickness.

V. Land and Planning Requirements
The land must be within the legal homestead area, comply with the overall land use plan of the township, and avoid special areas such as basic farmland protection zones. Approval procedures and building permits must be obtained before construction. Construction teams must have technical capabilities and certificates, with the construction process subject to supervision. The house can only be delivered after passing the completion inspection.
