Lhasa Modular Container House
Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026
The Lhasa modular container house is a modular building transformed from containers, featuring sturdiness, easy construction, and adaptability to high-altitude environments. It is widely used in fields such as engineering construction, commercial and cultural tourism, and public services.

I. Core Types and Characteristics The Lhasa modular container houses mainly fall into three categories:
- Cargo-container type: Transformed from traditional cargo containers, it has a sturdy structure, can withstand high pressure, and is suitable for scenarios with high strength requirements.
- Welded-box type: Utilizing brand-new welding technology, it is convenient for transportation, installation, and movement, with relatively low costs. Its lifespan can reach over a decade, offering a high return on investment.
- Disassembled-box type: Combining modular production technology, the container is disassembled into standard components, enabling fast on-site assembly and low transportation costs.
II. Key Performance Parameters
- Structural safety: The main frame is mostly made of weather-resistant steel (such as Q235B and Q345), with a plate thickness of no less than 1.6mm, ensuring wind and earthquake resistance (especially adapting to the high wind pressure and earthquake zone environment in Lhasa) and stacking load-bearing capacity.
- Thermal insulation: Filled with A-grade fireproof materials such as rock wool and polyurethane, the wall heat transfer coefficient K value can be as low as below 0.3W/(m²·K), effectively coping with the large temperature differences between day and night and strong ultraviolet rays in high-altitude areas.
- Durability: The main steel structure is galvanized, sandblasted for rust removal, and then painted with fluorocarbon paint, extending its service life to over 20 years.
- Environmental adaptability: The roof snow load can reach up to 1.5kN/m² (about 150kg/m²), and the wind pressure resistance is no less than 0.7kN/m², meeting the requirements for winter snowfall and strong winds in high-altitude areas.
III. Application Scenarios
- Engineering construction: Used as project command centers, worker camps, and temporary offices, meeting the needs for rapid deployment, mobility, and cost control.
- Commercial and cultural tourism: Employed in characteristic homestays, resort hotels, and commercial street shops, with an emphasis on exterior design, interior comfort, and personalized styling.
- Public services: Used as emergency shelters, epidemic quarantine points, and mobile police stations, emphasizing rapid response, safety, reliability, and functional integration.
- Other fields: Such as temporary classrooms in schools, field research stations, and high-altitude outposts, requiring environmental adaptability and long-term use.
