Kindergarten Mobile Toilet Configuration
Admin 13 de octubre de 2026
The configuration of mobile toilets in kindergartens should take into account the physiological characteristics, safety, and hygiene standards of young children. The core configuration modules are as follows:

I. Core Sanitary Fixtures
- Toilets:
- The height of the toilet seat should be ≤30cm, with a seat diameter of 30cm, suitable for the body shape of young children; anti-slip pedals should be installed for squat toilets.
- Urinals should be installed in boys' restrooms, with a height ≤15cm to prevent urine splashing.
- High-end products use stainless steel materials to enhance durability and ease of cleaning.
- Handwashing System:
- The height of splash-proof handwashing basins should be 50-55cm, with a faucet spacing ≥35cm to prevent collisions among young children.
- Press-type or sensor-type faucets are preferred to reduce contact contamination and save water.
- Auxiliary Accessories:
- Toilet paper holders, trash cans, and coat hooks (with a load-bearing capacity ≥5kg) are essential items.
- Grab bars should be installed in accessible toilet stalls, and the bottom edge of mirrors should be ≤60cm from the ground for easy use by young children.
- Some products include child safety seats to facilitate parents in assisting young children with toilet use.
II. Environmental Control Systems
- Ventilation:
- Forced exhaust fans with a power of 20-50 watts should provide ≥10 air changes per hour, or a fresh air deodorization system can be used.
- Dual exhaust designs on the top/side walls can improve air circulation efficiency and reduce odor retention.
- Lighting:
- LED energy-saving lights with a power of 5-15 watts and a brightness of 150-200lx should be used to avoid excessive brightness or darkness affecting vision.
- Emergency lighting should be provided, with a continuous power supply of ≥30 minutes to ensure safety in emergencies.
- Temperature Control:
- Insulation materials or small heaters should be installed in cold regions, while ventilation skylights or small air conditioners should be added in hot regions.
III. Structural and Safety Design
- Materials:
- Wall panels should be made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), fiberglass-reinforced plastic, or colored steel plates to resist moisture and corrosion.
- The floor should use anti-slip flooring or fiberglass-reinforced plastic grating to reduce the risk of slipping.
- Accessible Facilities:
- At least one accessible toilet stall (with dimensions of 1.5m×1.75m) should be provided, with a passage width ≥1.2m.
- The height of the call alarm device should be 0.5m for easy access by young children.
- Privacy Protection:
- The height of toilet stall partitions should be 80-90cm, with an 'Occupied/Unoccupied' indicator lock or LED display installed on the exterior.
IV. Precautions
The configuration should comply with the 'Design Code for Kindergarten and Nursery Buildings' JGJ39-2016 (2019 edition) and the 'GB/T 26963-2011 Mobile Toilets' standard, with a focus on airtightness, odor control performance, and the brands of core components (such as water pumps and sanitary fixtures). Additional functions such as management rooms, tool rooms, or universal restrooms can be added according to actual needs.
