Jishi Mobile Toilet
The Jishi Mobile Toilet is a vehicle-mounted toilet design by Jishi Automobile, transformed from the central storage box, serving as a flexible emergency solution. Here are the specific technical details:

1. Design Basis and Structural Modification
This design uses the vehicle's central storage box as a carrier, achieving functional transformation through structural optimization. The original storage box, used for storing miscellaneous items, retains its basic storage function after modification while embedding a detachable toilet seat assembly. The toilet seat, made of lightweight materials, can be fully stored inside the central storage box, occupying no additional space, ensuring seamless switching between daily use and emergency functions.
2. Usage and Hygiene Assurance
To use, the toilet seat is removed from the storage box and fixed on top of the box, followed by placing a specialized plastic bag over it. The plastic bag is pre-filled with deodorizing gel and absorbent materials; the former inhibits odor diffusion through chemical neutralization, while the latter quickly solidifies liquids to prevent leakage. After use, users only need to seal the plastic bag and dispose of it, eliminating the need to clean the toilet itself, greatly enhancing hygiene and convenience.
3. Design Goals and Applicable Scenarios
This solution is not a traditional complete vehicle-mounted toilet but a lightweight emergency device designed for urgent needs during long-distance travel. The core target audience includes children and female users, particularly suitable for scenarios such as traffic congestion, service areas being too far away, or wilderness camping. Its 'emergency nature' is reflected in its small size, quick deployment, and simple maintenance, although adult comfort is limited due to the storage box's space constraints.
4. Development History and Improvement Directions
Chang Jing, the founder of Jishi Automobile, publicly confirmed the project's authenticity and disclosed the development progress: the first Demo version was completed in April 2023, but testing revealed subpar user experience for adult women. Subsequently, details such as the toilet seat size and plastic bag fixation method were optimized. The improved version is planned to be showcased at the Chengdu Auto Show in August, with expectations to expand the applicable user base through ergonomic adjustments.
5. Vehicle Positioning and Functional Extensions
As a multi-functional vehicle with 'three uses in one', the Jishi 01's RV attributes drove the development of the vehicle-mounted toilet. In addition to emergency toilet functions, the vehicle also explores bathing solutions for long-distance self-driving, such as meeting basic cleaning needs through external shower equipment or hidden water tanks inside the vehicle, further enhancing adaptability to outdoor scenarios.
