Prefabricated Building Demonstration Projects

The Jingmen Natural Resources and Urban-Rural Development Bureau has released the list of municipal-level prefabricated building pilot demonstration projects for 2025, covering multiple fields. Among them, the Guanyanhu Community affordable rental housing project has a prefabricated building area of approximately 115,800 square meters, with a prefabrication rate of 50.5%. The core components include ALC panels, composite slabs, and prefabricated columns, which are prefabricated in factories and then transported to the site for assembly, improving construction efficiency and quality. The Jingchu Science and Innovation Experimental Training Center at Jingchu University of Technology has a prefabricated building area of about 34,200 square meters, with a prefabrication rate of 53.9%. Its core highlights are large-span composite beams and fully prefabricated stairs, which not only meet the functional requirements of the building but also demonstrate the advantages of prefabricated buildings in structural innovation. The three sub-projects of Dongbao Middle School have a prefabricated building area of about 20,200 square meters, with a prefabrication rate of 53.6%. They adopt a prefabricated column + composite slab combination system, which combines the stability of prefabricated columns with the convenience of composite slabs, providing a reliable solution for school buildings.

Packing-Box Units

Packing-box units are another important form of prefabricated composite housing in Jingmen. Their core modules are derived from standardized container structures, with major production and prefabrication processes completed in factories, including structural reinforcement, thermal insulation, internal wiring embedding, and basic decoration. This production method enables packing-box units to be constructed efficiently and quickly, allowing for rapid transportation to designated sites and assembly. In addition, packing-box units offer advantages such as outstanding overall cost-effectiveness, flexible mobility and reusability, and structural safety and living security. They are widely used in scenarios such as project site camps, wild operation bases, emergency transition shelters, commercial service outlets, and creative space carriers.
