Container Applications in the Industrial Transportation Field
In the industrial transportation sector of Jiexiu, containers have relatively typical applications. Shanxi Fengkuang Anran Intelligent Railway Transportation Co., Ltd. has adopted container-related technologies in the process of coal transportation. Its coal undergoes fully enclosed handling from entry to exit, with internal coal blending transferred to an enclosed underground space. Moreover, all 20 loaders used for loading and unloading containers are pure electric models. This application model not only embodies environmental protection concepts by reducing dust pollution and other issues during coal transportation through fully enclosed handling, but also lowers carbon emissions through the use of pure electric loaders. At the same time, economic benefits can be tapped from each carbon reduction link, indicating that this container transportation model has found a good balance between environmental protection and the economy, contributing to the low-carbon industrial development of Jiexiu.
Container Elements in Energy Storage Projects
Similar container-like facilities have also appeared in energy storage projects in Jiexiu. For example, the Jiexiu Songhuinengke 100MW/200MWh Electrochemical Energy Storage Project mainly includes the construction of one 100MW/200MWh prefabricated container energy storage power station, along with supporting facilities such as a comprehensive service building, electrical, heating and ventilation, hazardous waste temporary storage, accident oil ponds, and sewage treatment stations for office and environmental protection purposes. The Jiexiu Hengtai Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. 100MW/200MWh Hybrid Energy Storage Project has also constructed one 100MW/200MWh prefabricated container energy storage power station. These prefabricated container energy storage power stations are the core parts of energy storage projects. They integrate energy storage equipment in the form of containers, featuring convenient transportation, installation, and management. They can effectively enhance the peak-shaving capacity of the power grid and the consumption of new energy in Jiexiu and even the Jinzhong area.
Although there is currently no detailed introduction directly targeting container houses in Jiexiu, it can be seen from the applications of containers in industrial transportation and energy storage projects that containers play an important role in the industrial and energy fields of Jiexiu and may be further explored and applied in other fields such as housing construction in the future.
