Jiaxing Public Mobile Toilets
Jiaxing public mobile toilets mainly come in two forms: mobile eco-friendly public toilets at bus stops and rental of mobile sanitation units for outdoor events.

Mobile Eco-Friendly Public Toilets at Bus Stops: The Jiaxing Transportation Bureau, in collaboration with the Construction Bureau and relevant departments in the three districts, has conducted a survey of bus stops within a 300-meter radius that lack restrooms, particularly in rural and intercity areas. Leveraging the brand “Hechengyi · Warm Jia,” priority is given to constructing fixed public toilets to meet demand. For stops where fixed toilets cannot be built, mobile eco-friendly public toilets are deployed as a transitional solution based on site conditions. These toilets focus on emergency support, offering flexible siting and rapid deployment to effectively alleviate the restroom challenges faced by the public during bus travel and enhance the convenience of public services.
Rental of Mobile Sanitation Units for Outdoor Events: For public events held in Jiaxing where fixed structures cannot cover open areas, mobile sanitation units serve as the primary solution for sanitation needs. Their service process includes:
- Equipment Types: Modular design is employed, with basic models featuring only a toilet and a simple flushing mechanism, relying on a water tank for a limited number of flushes; premium models integrate sinks, lighting, ventilation, and sewage treatment modules, forming a mini independent sanitation system. Some units are optimized for accessibility, with adjusted interior space and facility heights.
- Service Process: These units are transported to designated locations and installed by professional vehicles, covering the entire process from site selection to periodic maintenance and post-event retrieval. Plan formulation requires comprehensive consideration of factors such as event scale, duration, and environmental conditions.
- Rental Decision-Making: Systematic analysis of parameters such as participant numbers, event type, on-site resources, and cost budget is necessary. For example, large-scale events require fully functional premium units, while short-term small-scale events can opt for basic models to control costs.
The introduction of mobile sanitation units not only meets the sanitation needs of outdoor events but also avoids the waste of resources associated with fixed facility construction, reflecting a balance between public service and flexibility. Their modular nature and full-service model provide an efficient solution for sanitation support at public events in Jiaxing.
