Iron Sheet Container Finished House

Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026

The iron sheet container finished house is a building unit with residential functions that can be repeatedly disassembled and assembled. It is based on container modules and transformed through secondary design and system integration. The following is an introduction from multiple aspects:

Structural and Performance Optimization

  • Structural Mechanics: Traditional containers directly used as living spaces have the problem of insufficient floor stiffness. For example, Baotou Xinxing Color Plate Steel Structure Manufacturing Co., Ltd. installs C-shaped steel purlins between the bottom beams, enabling the stacked three-story box structure to remain stable.
  • Anti-corrosion Treatment: After shot blasting and rust removal on the box surface, zinc-rich primer and polyurethane topcoat are sprayed. In the northwest environment with wind and sand and temperature differences, the effective service life of the steel can reach more than 15 years.
  • Thermal Insulation: A broken-bridge lining structure is adopted. Hard polyurethane foam is filled between the steel frame and the inner wall panel, and rubber thermal insulation pads are installed at the connections of the keels. This reduces the heat exchange efficiency between the inside and outside of the box by about 40%. In winter without heating, the indoor temperature can be 8 to 10 degrees Celsius higher than the outside.

Environmental Advantages

The core value of container houses lies in the full life-cycle recycling of materials. Each standard 20-foot container consumes about 1.2 tons of steel. For the same area, its carbon emissions are 1/2.3 of those of one-time poured concrete temporary houses.

Innovation in Living Experience

  • Prefabrication Level: The main structure, interior and exterior wall decorations, and pipeline embedment are completed before leaving the factory. The construction error is compressed from the centimeter level to the millimeter level, with high squareness of the space. The openings of doors and windows and pipeline interfaces are standardized, reducing the need for later modifications.
  • Spatial Functional Zoning: Fixed-size boxes adopt a functional overlapping strategy. The kitchen and bathroom are compressed into a wet area, using integrated bathroom technology. The living and sleeping areas achieve day-night functional switching through the variability of furniture. However, it requires residents to systematically plan item storage; otherwise, the actual usable area will shrink.
  • Relocation and Resetting Costs: The transportation cost per kilometer for a single lifting is 15 to 25 yuan. After arriving at the new site, it can be used once water and electricity are connected. The low relocation cost has given rise to the "mobile living" model. However, if the number of disassemblies and assemblies exceeds 5 times, the risk of structural deformation will increase by about 15%.
