Internal Structure of Portable Toilets

Admin 12 de octubre de 2026

The internal structure of portable toilets varies depending on their design type and purpose, with common configurations including the following core modules:

Integrated Portable Toilets

These toilets typically divide functional areas independently. Taking the combination of shower and toilet as an example:

  • Shower Room: Equipped with a steel door to ensure privacy, it has an illuminated switch and an adjustable showerhead to meet different cleaning needs. The 304 stainless steel faucet is highly corrosion-resistant. The sloped, non-slip marble floor design prevents water accumulation, and the sealed box structure prevents sewage overflow.
  • Toilet Compartment: The pedestal sink saves space. The men's urinal features a splash-proof design, and the flush valve controls water flow to conserve water. The corrugated iron roof is lightweight and waterproof. The drain is connected to underground pipes or a sewage storage tank, and partitions divide the space to protect user privacy.

Universal Portable Toilets

Modular design is their core feature, with components that can be flexibly combined:

  • Fecal Treatment System: This includes a storage tank or a biodegradation unit. The storage tank requires regular cleaning, while the biodegradation unit uses microorganisms to break down feces, reducing odors and the frequency of cleaning.
  • Sanitary Ware: Toilets or urinals are made of non-slip materials, and some designs are equipped with stainless steel handrails to facilitate use by individuals with mobility issues. Washing facilities such as sinks are usually connected to a water tank to provide running water.
  • Structural Support: The floor should be non-slip and easy to clean. The walls are made of lightweight materials (such as aluminum alloy or plastic panels), and the roof is covered with a waterproof membrane or color-coated steel sheets. Moving devices (such as wheels or tow hooks) facilitate overall transportation.

Simple Homemade Portable Toilets

Oriented towards low cost and practicality, these are commonly seen in temporary settings:

  • Sewage Storage System: A cut-open water storage tank serves as the container for the toilet bowl, and a drain elbow is connected to pipes to prevent odor backflow. A universal wheel moving base allows for easy position adjustment.
  • Cleaning Facilities: A homemade stainless steel sink, paired with a shower hose and bracket, provides basic cleaning functions. A wooden door is sealed with glue and fixed with screws to ensure privacy.
  • Material Optimization: Some designs use stainless steel handrails, toilet bowls, and other facilities to enhance durability and reduce maintenance costs.

The internal structures of different types of portable toilets are all centered around functionality and practicality. Material selection (such as stainless steel, non-slip floors) and modular design (such as detachable water tanks, independent functional compartments) are common features. The specific configuration needs to be adjusted according to the usage scenario and budget.
