Installation of Intelligent Mobile Toilets
Admin 10 de octubre de 2026
The installation of intelligent mobile toilets (smart toilets) should be carried out step by step in a standardized manner, with particular attention paid to the contraindications in relocation scenarios. The specific process and precautions are as follows:

I. Basic Installation Steps
- Component Inspection and Measurement: Before installation, verify that all components (such as flange rings, filters, backup battery packs, etc.) are complete. Measure the trap distance (i.e., the center distance) between the toilet's waste outlet and the wall's drain outlet to ensure compatibility with the toilet model.
- Sealing Treatment: Install the flange ring (sealing ring) onto the toilet's waste outlet and press it firmly using the toilet's own weight to ensure a tight seal between the waste outlet and the sewer pipe, preventing future leaks and odors.
- Angle Valve Connection: Remove the wall cap, wrap 20 turns of Teflon tape around the threads of the angle valve, and then connect it to the water purifier's inlet to prevent interface leaks.
II. Water, Electricity, and Functional Component Installation
- Filter and Backup Power: Install a filter to purify the water and extend the equipment's lifespan. Connect a backup battery pack for flushing during power outages to ensure the toilet remains functional when the power is off.
- Independent Wiring and Leakage Protection: Smart toilets require independent wiring to avoid sharing circuits with other electrical appliances. Install a leakage protection device to prevent the risk of electric shock caused by a damp environment.
III. Special Considerations for Relocation (If Position Changes Are Required)
- Distance Limitations: If the relocation distance exceeds 20 centimeters, the floor must be raised or the pipe slope adjusted. Installation is not recommended if the distance exceeds 30 centimeters, as it may lead to poor drainage.
- Pipe Requirements: The use of 90-degree elbows is strictly prohibited; instead, use small-angle deflection guide pipes. The inner diameter of the pipes must not be reduced, as this would disrupt the siphon effect and affect flushing efficiency.
- Sealing and Waterproofing: Seal the relocation joints with sealant or specialized tape. After restoring the waterproof layer, conduct a 48-hour closed-water test to confirm no leaks before installing the toilet.
IV. Tips to Avoid Pitfalls
- Drainage Issue Troubleshooting: If slow drainage or foul odors occur after relocation, prioritize inspecting and repairing the pipes (e.g., clearing blockages, adjusting the slope) before installing the equipment.
- Functionality-First Principle: The rationality of concealed works (such as piping and waterproofing) takes precedence over aesthetic appeal. Strictly adhere to building drainage logic to avoid difficult repairs caused by forced modifications.
Summary: The installation of smart toilets must consider sealing, electrical safety, and relocation limitations, with particular attention to pipe slope, sealing treatment, and leakage protection. If relocation is involved, be sure to assess the distance and pipe conditions in advance to ensure stable functionality and safe use.
