Overall Overview of Integrated Cement Prefabricated Houses

Admin 18 de septiembre de 2026

Integrated cement prefabricated houses are prefabricated buildings constructed through factory-made modules that are hoisted and assembled on-site. They feature efficient construction, a sturdy structure, and excellent performance, but also have limitations such as restricted customization of shapes and specific environmental adaptability requirements.

Construction Method and Material Structure
Utilizing an industrialized process, the factory pre-fabricates standard modules such as wall panels and floor slabs by pouring C35 concrete and a coarse steel bar framework (e.g., Φ8-Φ14 threaded steel bars) into molds in one go. These modules are then hoisted and assembled on-site. For example, the main structure of a 200-square-meter villa can be completed in as little as 4 hours. Its full-frame shear wall structure has a compressive strength of 30MPa, which is 1.5 times that of traditional brick-and-mortar structures.

Performance Advantages

  1. Earthquake and Wind Resistance: They have been tested to withstand earthquakes of magnitude 8 and typhoons of category 12. During the Gansu Jishishan earthquake, 2,000 prefabricated houses were built within 72 hours, and simulated tests showed a displacement of only 3 centimeters. In the Yunnan Zhaotong earthquake of magnitude 6.2, the main structure of a certain homestay remained intact, with only a 0.1-millimeter fine crack appearing on the wall.
  2. Fire and Water Resistance: The concrete has a fire resistance limit of 3 hours, and the roof and wall waterproofing grades reach Level II, capable of withstanding 12 hours of continuous heavy rain with a leakage rate much lower than that of traditional buildings.
  3. Thermal Insulation and Sound Insulation: They are embedded with 50-100 mm thick EPS insulation layers. However, due to the relatively thin walls (e.g., 200 mm), additional insulation boards are required in northern regions. The sound insulation effect varies depending on the design, with some cases showing deficiencies.

Economic Efficiency and Application Scenarios
The construction cost of the main structure of a 100-square-meter house is approximately 88,000 to 120,000 yuan, which is 26.7% to 30% less than that of a brick-and-mortar structure. The construction period is shortened by 90%, and labor costs are significantly reduced. They are suitable for rural self-built houses, commercial spaces, emergency buildings (such as post-disaster relief housing), and temporary construction site housing. For example, a homestay in the Moganshan area saw its annual income triple after adopting this type of house.

Limitations

  1. Shape Customization: Standard modules have fixed shapes, and special designs such as rounded balconies require an additional 20% cost.
  2. Environmental Adaptability: In northern or cold regions, additional insulation measures are needed; otherwise, the thermal insulation performance may be insufficient.
  3. Market Variations: Prices vary greatly among different brands and regions (e.g., 300 yuan per square meter in Zhumadian, Henan, and 650 yuan per square meter in Hanzhong, Shaanxi). It is advisable to choose well-known brands with a 70-year warranty and earthquake resistance reports.
