Insulated Container House
An insulated container house is a prefabricated building that uses containers as its basic structural units. Through special design and modification, it has thermal insulation properties and can meet residential or specific usage requirements.

Structural Features
An insulated container house uses a steel frame as its skeleton, which is the foundation of its structural stability. It typically adopts standard container sizes as modules, such as 20-foot and 40-foot containers, but can be adaptively combined according to actual needs. By assembling the containers, buildings of different scales and shapes can be created. For the walls, the inner and outer wall panels are made of thermal insulation materials, such as rock wool or polyurethane, and are combined with a moisture-proof layer and a ventilation layer to form a multi-layer protective system. This effectively blocks heat transfer and achieves thermal insulation.
Performance Advantages
- Excellent Thermal Insulation: High-density thermal insulation materials are filled inside the walls to reduce heat exchange between the interior and exterior. For example, in cold regions, comfortable indoor temperatures can be maintained with the help of auxiliary heating equipment; in high-temperature environments, reflective coatings and ventilation designs can also effectively lower indoor temperatures.
- Portability and Reusability: Insulated container houses can be lifted as a whole, making it easy to relocate them to different sites. When a campsite is relocated or a project is completed, the disassembly and reassembly loss rate is kept at a low level. They can be repeatedly disassembled and relocated to different places, reducing construction costs and environmental impact.
- Short Construction Period: All preliminary processes, including plumbing, decoration, and even interior soft furnishings, can be prefabricated in the factory. On-site, only lifting and simple connections are required before the house can be put into use. This greatly reduces the construction period and improves construction efficiency.
Application Scenarios
Insulated container houses have a wide range of applications. In natural environments such as seashores, mountains, and lakesides, they can serve as guest rooms for bed-and-breakfasts or accommodation units for camping sites. At fishing grounds, scenic spot entrances, and other locations, they can also be used as temporary rest or service facilities. They are also suitable for temporary projects such as construction site dormitories and wilderness camps, meeting the demand for rapid delivery.
