Installation Process of Prefabricated House Columns
Admin 18 de septiembre de 2026
The installation process of prefabricated house columns is as follows:

Installation Sequence Planning: The installation sequence should strictly follow the lifting plan. If the plan does not specify requirements, installation is typically carried out in the order of corner columns, side columns, and central columns. Columns connected to cast-in-place structures should be lifted first to ensure overall structural stability.
Preparation Before Lifting:
- Set leveling pads or elevation adjustment devices at the bottom of wall panels to ensure accurate installation elevation;
- When using grout sleeve connections or grout anchor connections for sandwich insulation exterior wall panels, install elastic sealing materials on the exterior side to prevent grout leakage;
- When adopting mortar bedding for multi-story shear walls, evenly lay the mortar bedding material to ensure a dense connection;
- Select appropriate lifting devices and hoisting equipment based on the shape, size, weight, and working radius of the prefabricated components;
- During lifting, the horizontal angle between the lifting cable and the component should not be less than 60°, and the minimum should not be less than 45° to avoid excessive lateral forces causing deformation or overturning of the component.
Temporary Support Setup:
- Each prefabricated component should be provided with stable and reliable temporary supports according to the construction plan;
- The upper inclined support point of the prefabricated column should be no less than two-thirds of the column height from the bottom of the panel and should not be less than half of the column height; the lower support pads should be symmetrically arranged with respect to the column centerline;
- For prefabricated columns exceeding 10 meters in height, additional guy wires should be installed to enhance wind resistance stability.
Positioning and Alignment:
- Before positioning, pre-set leveling pads at the bottom of the column to control the installation elevation;
- Use the axis and outer contour lines as control lines for the prefabricated column, with the outer contour lines serving as the reference for side and corner columns to ensure that the building's exterior dimensions meet design requirements.
Post-Installation Adjustment and Fixing:
- After the prefabricated column is in place, set adjustable inclined supports in two directions for temporary fixing and adjust the elevation, verticality, and torsional deviation to ensure accurate component positioning;
- For prefabricated columns connected with grout sleeves, seal the column base connection area after adjustment and positioning to prevent grout spillage.
Foundation Cup Mouth Treatment:
- The concrete strength of the foundation cup mouth must reach the design requirements before installing the prefabricated column;
- Before installation, verify the dimensions of the cup mouth's length, width, and height, and fix the column body after confirming compliance;
- After the poured concrete hardens, remove the hardwood wedges or steel wedges, and then pour secondary concrete;
- After the concrete strength in the cup mouth reaches 75% of the design strength, the inclined supports can be removed to complete the final fixing.
