Installation of Finished Mobile Toilets in Inner Mongolia
The installation of finished mobile toilets in Inner Mongolia should be carried out in accordance with local environmental characteristics and follow the principle of environmental adaptability. The specific key points are as follows:

Foundation Pre-treatment
Inner Mongolia has a diverse range of surface types, including grasslands, sandy areas, and seasonal permafrost. In grassland areas, non-excavation anchoring systems should be used to avoid damaging the root systems of the meadows and the surface soil structure. In sandy areas, extended bases should be employed to distribute pressure and prevent equipment from tipping over. In permafrost areas, excavation should be carried out to a depth below the permafrost layer (approximately 1.5-2 meters), concrete foundations should be poured, and anchor bolts should be embedded. The flatness error of the foundation surface should be controlled within ±5mm to prevent the main body from tilting.
Sewage System Connection
Mobile toilets mostly adopt a modular design for separating black water (fecal sewage) and gray water (hand-washing wastewater). Black water can be connected to replaceable sealed storage tanks or small-scale biological treatment chambers. Gray water, after simple filtration, can be directed to evaporation areas or used for vegetation irrigation if permitted by policies. For the installation of septic tanks, a 10cm sand and gravel bedding layer should be laid, covered with a 30cm soil layer to prevent frost cracking, and inspection ports should be provided. Biodegradable toilets require the installation of biological strain reactors and connection to ventilation pipes. Vacuum suction toilets need vacuum pipes with a slope of ≥1% to be laid, and the suction pressure should be tested to meet the standard (-0.04 to -0.06MPa).
Energy Supply Solutions
Priority should be given to utilizing Inner Mongolia's abundant renewable energy sources: In areas with sufficient sunlight, solar photovoltaic panels should be integrated to supply power for lighting, ventilation, and small-scale septic processors. In regions with rich wind resources, miniature wind turbines should be equipped as a supplement to ensure self-sufficiency in energy.
Construction Process and Key Technologies
- Main Body Installation: Modular assembly should be adopted, with the bottom frame, walls, and roof fixed in sequence. The connections should be sealed with waterproof glue. The floor should be laid with anti-slip tiles and designed with a 2%-3% slope for drainage.
- Water and Electricity Systems: Water supply should use pressure tanks or elevated water tanks, wrapped with insulation cotton in winter. Drainage pipes should be buried below the permafrost layer or use electric tracing for insulation. The electrical circuit should be equipped with moisture-proof switches and sockets, with the wires protected by PVC pipes and the grounding resistance ≤4Ω.
Quality Acceptance Standards
- Structural Safety: The wind resistance rating should be ≥8, the seismic design intensity should comply with local regulations, and the ground bearing capacity should be ≥200kg/m².
- Sanitary Performance: For the septic tank's airtightness test, the water level should not drop by more than 10mm after 24 hours of water injection. The odor concentration at the exhaust port should be ≤10, and the indoor ammonia concentration should be ≤0.2mg/m³.
- Usage Functionality: The water consumption of the flushing device should be ≤3L per flush, the drainage time should be ≤5 seconds, the doors and windows should open and close flexibly, and the ventilation window area should be ≥1/20 of the floor area.
