Indoor Mobile Toilet Design

Admin 09 de octubre de 2026

Indoor mobile toilet design can refer to DIY ideas, factory-finished products, and general design considerations, with flexible selection of plans based on functional requirements and actual scenarios.

I. DIY Creative Design
Suitable for those with a limited budget and some hands-on skills. Taking the modification of a water storage tank as an example, the core steps include:

  1. Structural Construction: Split the water storage tank vertically into two halves, fix a wooden board at the bottom, and install universal wheels to enable mobility; increase the height of the tank body with wooden strips and self-tapping screws to form a basic framework.
  2. Walls and Roof: Cut an entrance on the side of the water storage tank and embed sponge strips to construct a door frame; cover the outside with plastic soft boards to form elevated walls; invert the upper half of the tank onto the top of the wooden strips as a roof, ensuring tightness to prevent leakage.
  3. Functional Integration: Install a floor drain inside connected to a drainage pipe, and use a plastic bucket as a small water storage device; equip with a bath heater, showerhead, and other bathing facilities, fix a toilet, and connect the sewage pipe to an independent sewage bucket to achieve separation of wet and dry areas and centralized sewage treatment.
This plan is cost-effective, but attention should be paid to the waterproofness of materials and structural stability, suitable for temporary or low-frequency use scenarios.

II. Factory-Finished Design
For standardized needs, the market offers pre-assembled mobile toilets with the following features:

  1. Modular Combination: Supports single or double squatting positions, priced at approximately 1000 yuan per squatting position, integrating bathing and toilet functions with high space utilization.
  2. Appearance and Materials: Offers appearance options such as blue brick color and wood grain color to match different decoration styles; uses lightweight and durable materials (such as PVC boards and aluminum alloy frames) for both strength and portability.
  3. Plug-and-Play: The factory completes the interior decoration (including sanitary ware and drainage systems), and it only needs to be connected to water and electricity upon arrival, suitable for rapid deployment in scenarios such as homes and construction sites.
This plan saves time and effort, but has a low degree of customization and requires selection based on the supplier's product specifications.

III. General Design Principles
Regardless of the plan adopted, the following core principles must be followed:

  1. Mobility: Control the overall height (recommended ≤ 2.2 meters) and width (≤ 1.2 meters) to ensure passage through standard doorways; the moving device (such as universal wheels and towing hooks) should bear a reasonable weight and be easy to operate.
  2. Environmental Protection and Durability: Prioritize the use of waterproof and corrosion-resistant materials (such as stainless steel and high-density plastics); the fecal sewage storage tank should be sealed to prevent odors, or equipped with a septic tank for ecological degradation.
  3. Functional Optimization: Design the water storage capacity according to the frequency of use (e.g., ≥ 50L for home use); high-frequency scenarios can add intelligent flushing and ventilation systems to enhance the experience.

When designing, it is necessary to comprehensively consider the budget, space, and usage requirements, balance creativity and practicality, and ensure safety and compliance.
