Independent Mobile Toilet
An independent mobile toilet is a self-contained facility that can be moved as a whole and placed in fixed or temporary locations to provide toilet services for the public and customers. The following is a detailed introduction from three aspects: types, components, and classification methods.

I. Common Types
- Grid-style Independent Single-room Mobile Toilet: This type of toilet is unisex and has a high usage frequency. It is equipped with partitions and a rain-proof corridor, and has been finely decorated. It can not only be used as a toilet but can also be transformed into a shower room to meet diverse usage needs.
- Customized Mobile Toilet: Usually divided into male and female areas, it is welded with an overall steel structure frame, making it sturdy and durable. Aesthetically, the gray and white metal carved panels are not only visually appealing but also have thermal insulation and corrosion-resistant properties. It features daylighting and ventilation sliding windows at the front, complete male and female signs, and is equipped with gray aluminum alloy exterior doors, providing users with independent private space.
II. Basic Components
A mobile toilet generally consists of multiple parts. The fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device) is used to collect and treat excreta; the floor provides a stable surface for standing and moving around; sanitary ware, including toilets and squat pans, meets basic toilet needs; walls serve to separate and protect privacy; washing facilities, such as sinks, facilitate user cleaning; water tanks are used to store water for flushing toilets; the roof provides shelter from wind and rain; and the mobile device enables the toilet to be moved as a whole to adapt to different usage scenarios.
III. Classification Methods
- By Structural Form: They can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. The single-structure type is relatively simple and highly independent; the composite-structure type may be composed of multiple parts and has more complex functions.
- By Mobility Method: They are classified into lifting and handling-type mobile toilets and powered and trailer-type mobile toilets. The lifting and handling type is suitable for short-distance movement, while the powered and trailer type can be towed by vehicles for long-distance movement.
- By Sewage Treatment Method: They are divided into water-flush and waterless-flush suction-type mobile toilets, circulating water-flush mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. The water-flush type has better cleaning effects but requires a certain amount of water resources; the waterless-flush suction type and dry-packing type are suitable for areas with scarce water resources; the circulating water-flush type achieves water-saving purposes by recycling water resources.
